Provide a focal point for local people to meet up informally;
Provide a common ground for communities and professionals to work together in an innovative way;
Support the Governments programme to reduce health and social inequalities by empowering local communities to address local problems;
Provide the opportunity for local residents to volunteer in their own community by learning new skills which in turn will build confidence and self esteem that could lead to future employment;
Provide a long term outcome on Social Return on Investment; as
It would be a ‘More than Profit’ project that would bring added value through meeting social, health and environmental needs for all age groups within ‘our’ community.
