Peter Behrens designs the pattern "Circle and Square" for the collection of Linoleum with Ankler inlays. He became the pioneer of interior designs of this period.

Jean Nouvel is one of the most important architects in France. Its buildings represent unlimited individualism, always integrating cutting-edge technology. The Hotel Les Thermes de Dax: functional, with guidance ecological and an unusual facade design. The perfect pavement: Linoleum UNI WALTON by DLW in color "Blue", specially manufactured for this work.

Henning Larsen designed the new Copenhagen Opera House. If you look at it in front or in profile, the feeling does not change: the large roof seems to vibrate in the air, as if thanks to it the entire structure was about to take off. From the architectural point of view, it is in fact the most characterizing element of the building. Henning Larsen chose DLW Linoleum as pavement for this unique building.

Beijing Olympic Stadium is the world’s largest steel structure with 26km of unwrapped steel used. It was designed by Herzog & De Meuron Architekten and has been nicknamed the "bird’s nest" due to the web of twisting steel sections that form the roof. As well as designing a modern stadium, the team was challenged with creating a venue that was part of the culture of China and would put Beijing on the map. Linoleum Marmorette Ice Grey was installed inside the building.

In 1913, the architect Gabriel Von Seidl used rows of the famous brown and beige pattern in the construction of the new City Council of Bremen.

Based on the concept of construction conceived by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe, 17 European architects created 21 white buildings with flat roofs, with cubic rhythm in "Weissenhofsiedlung" in Stuttgart. One of the architects was Walter Gropius. 55 architects and interior designers furnished the buildings. Each of the buildings has DLW Linoleum.

The objective of the International Construction Exhibition "Interbau" held in Berlin in 1957 was to rebuild the Hansaviertel district, almost totally destroyed in World War II. Le Corbusier installed 35.000 m² of Linoleum inside Heilsberger apartments.

Linseed oil:Extracted from flax seeds, linseed oil is the first ingredient and the main binding agent used in linoleum.

Wood flour:Only all natural fillers here, using woodflour from Scandinavia or Germany.

Limestone:Ground up limestone is turned into chalkand added in as additional filler.

Jute:This long organic fiber is spun to create the product’s backing.

Resin:Natural resins from plantation trees are used as the second binding agent.

Colored pigments:Our pigments are free of heavy metals and comply with AP89 regulation.

Cork is used to ensure a good maturation of the product and brings elasticity to sport ranges.

LINOLEUM IS A NATURAL PRODUCT

Its colors enjoy light

Its installation requires careIt emits a natural smell

It is sensitive to humidity Deprived from light and due to the oxidation of linseed oil, the yellowing process will attenuate its color. This process is reversible: when exposed to light during a few days or weeks, linoleum finds back its original color.

Linoleum needs to be handled with care, especially when unrolling, during the first 3 meters. Stress releasing head of rolls during installation is also useful.

Like wood or leather, it emits a natural smell, which can be relatively strong at the beginning but will always fade with time.

Due to its composition, linoleum is intended for dry rooms. Nevertheless, its surface treatment allows water based cleaning.

The DLW brand stands for 150 years of experience and has been considered a reference since its creation.

The greenest solution on the market : 98% bio based material / 80% rapidly renewable / up to 40% recycled content.

Unlimited possibilities in terms of creativity, allowing unique and differentiating designs.

Adapted to numerous types of buildings, from education to healthcare, from public buildings to offices, thanks to a complete portfolio of compact, acoustic, sport and industrial solutions.
