Dear Applicant, Thank you for your interest in LICU, we are excited to hear that you desire to join us in this life-

changing program! This letter explains the application process that needs to be completed before any letter of acceptance and assessment can be sent. This will then enable you to enrol into the first course.

Seven Points to Remember:

1. Please fill in the student application form

2. Hand one recommendation letter to your pastor and the other to another person who knows you sufficiently enough to recommend you to LICU. Please don’t forget to first indicate the information required on the top of both letters before you pass them on!

Be sure to receive them back in a sealed envelope in which they need to be forwarded to our head office, together with the rest of your application material.

3. For students who have completed High School only:• Send us an official copy of your high school graduation

4. For students who have gone beyond High School and like to receive possible credits for these years of study:• Ask each institution to provide us with official transcripts, to be sent directly to our

office for assessment. These transcripts need to show the type of studying, the time you

attended and the grades/degrees you achieved. (In order to avoid a £50/€50 reassessment fee all transcripts need to be received by the office within 60 days of your application date).Note: Some institutions might charge a small fee for handling, administration and postage.

5. Submit all completed application material together with three passport photos and the

application payment to our LICU head office (please see address details below).

6. Once our office has received your application form and payment (please also remember to indicate on the Statement of Agreement page, whether you would like to benefit from additional discounts available for students who order more than one course at a time), you will then receive the Student’s Handbook, including a small handbook exam, which needs to be returned to our office as part of your enrolment process.

7. The application fee is available for £30 (€35 for those living in countries with the Euro currency) plus £50/€50 for the student’s handbook; total of £80/€85 (not included are £15/€15 for postage & packaging, unless all materials are delivered to your computer/device as PDF copies only).

Note: If you wish to receive a professionally bound handbook, through Amazon, please add an additional fee of £20/€20 to the total of your application, student’s handbook plus postage & packaging fee (total of £115/€120).

Dear Applicant, Please read carefully the following Statement of Agreement and place your signature in the spaces

provided. This is to help you gain all information and financial saving details, required for your enrolment with LifeStyle International Christian University. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our office (Tel: 0039 366 329 1315), we look forward to hearing from you.

1. TUITION/COURSE FEES:

Our normal tuition fees are: £150/€170 for undergraduate students, and £185/€210 for graduate students. For those who apply and qualify for our excellent LICU “Scholarship” Program, must understand, that for any scholarship program to be viable and self-sustaining, the following “non-negotiable” conditions must be attached:

This Special Scholarship Discount enables students to study all LICU courses at a 67/70% discount, which is only £50/€50 for undergraduate and £65/€65 Euros for graduate courses. Note: Above prices do not include: £15/€15 postage/packaging fee per course for students receiving their materials as printed copies from the LICU office, or the additional fee of £20/€20, for those who would like to receive a professionally printed copy from Amazon.

Remember however that the University is not able to function on these discounted rates (i.e. covering: course work, credit hours, administration, staff wages, office expenses, etc. plus future developments); therefore

Apostle Doctor Pateman subsidises the other €120 of the €170 regular rates for every course taken by students on this scholarship level. This means that Doctor Alan and his Union “Alan Pateman Ministries International,” has to find a total of €1,080 for every 9 courses taken by an individual student (which is what they save on scholarship rates).Therefore out of gratitude and respect we ask each student to sign an agreement, where they commit:

• To take at least 1 course per month for the minimum of 1 academic year/9 courses (students who stop after 1, 2, or 3 courses etc. without having fulfilled this minimum requirement, are still required

to pay for the remaining courses to make up the 9 course order minimum, as based on their Special Scholarship Discount Agreement/Contract). Note: This requirement is not applicable for students who pay the regular study rates, i.e. £150/€170 per undergraduate course or £185/€210 per graduate course.

• To introduce at least 1 new student within the first couple of months of their studies• To advertise the university on their media outlets monthlyThese same requirements also apply to those who have been awarded a full scholarship, as part of the

international correspondence program; who are also committing to advertise and promote the university on a monthly basis, and to bring other students on board.

Apostle Pateman and his Executive Directors strongly encourage all students to honour this agreement, which helps give back to the University some of the seed sown into our students’ lives. Remembering also that there is a variety of ways to advertise LICU (including personal Facebook pages and other social media platforms; especially word of mouth, etc.)

We trust this information better helps you understand the heart of Doctor Alan, (as LICU is the Teaching Arm of his apostolic ministry) and his desire to enable as many students as possible to benefit from this excellent program.

Note: Students who do not register for at least one course per month and/or don’t introduce a new student within the first 2 months of their studies, will be automatically charged the regular study rates.

3. MINIMUM COURSE REQUIREMENT:

LICU only awards certificates/degrees to students who have fulfilled a minimum of 30 credit hours with this university, which consists of a minimum of 9 courses (one per month) and a Ministry Practicum.


4. INTRODUCTION OF NEW STUDENTS:

All students requesting a special scholarship discount are expected to bring at least 1 new student into LICU during the first few months of their academic term of 9 courses (new students can study from any location through our online/correspondence program). However we encourage all of our students to see themselves as Ambassador of LICU, proudly spreading the news of the university program to their family, friends and colleagues. Together we can do more!


5. GRADUATION ATTENDANCE:

This is a very special day for you as the student who diligently has worked to complete your course requirements. Secondly, as a university, graduation is part of our structure, a day for the professors, teachers staff to enjoy the achievements of our students and for the students to appreciate the university and faculty that enabled them to achieve their academic and spiritual achievements.

In regards to receiving your personal degree certificate, IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE INTERNATIONAL OR CAMPUS GRADUATION. Furthermore we encourage all students to bring family and friends, (at least two people) to witness your celebration of achievement. “You can be a great athlete but unless you register and complete the race by crossing the finishing line, you will never win a medal” – Apostle Doctor Alan Pateman.
