How LIFE University Works

Ten unique courses Each class meets for an hour, twice a week for four weeksMust complete six courses to earn a diploma

Spring 2016 Courses

LIFE 101 (January 2016): Refresher of Project STIR and focused on communication and the Life Course Trajectory

Fight for Your Right (February 2016): Taught individuals about the rights and responsibilities of all citizens and laws protecting disability

Where We Were (March 2016): To celebrate Disability Awareness Month, we learned about disability history and how life has changed for people with disabilities

My Good Life (April 2016): We completed the One Page Profile (a Charting the Life Course tool) and this information was shared with their support team.

True Friends (May 2016): Students are learning about the different types of relationships that they have in their lives, how to be a good friend, and to recognize when they may be being abused or exploited
