Life University’s Functional Neurology Center is the only university
based neurology center in the chiropractic profession. The chiro-
practors on staff are trained in performing functional neurology
assessments and utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to develop
specific protocols and applications for individual patients.
What is Functional Neurology?
The practice of functional neurology utilizes scientific research,
advanced diagnostics, innovative therapeutic applications, and quality
of life outcomes to improve and restore individuals to better health.
Functional neurology is the practice of assessing and evaluating
the level of function of the nervous system. Patients who have
neurologic impairments may suffer or struggle in the areas of
ambulation, fine motor skills, daily activities of self-hygiene,
vocalization and much more. The practice of functional neurology
seeks to utilize advanced
diagnostics and innovative
therapeutic strategies to
enhance neurologic function
and restore individuals to
previous levels of health.
At the LIFE Functional Neurology Center (LFNC) we take a team
approach when applying the principles of functional neurology.
Our team of doctors has input on each case to ensure that you
are getting the best care possible.
