NEXT STEPS TOWARDS LCM 2015
• Call for Papers: November 2014 – 16 January 2015
• Continuation of fundraising activities
• Identification and invitations to keynote speakers
• Table of content and outreach for LCA Compendium on LCM
• Open early bird registration
• Selection of presentations based on abstracts received
• Meeting of friends of LCM 2015 at SETAC Europe 2015
• Finalization of social and partner programme
• Preparation of extended website, programme book and LCM Compendium
Unmet needs to be addressed by life cycle professionals in the next years
• Industry stakeholders are looking for global consistency, predictability and certainty to be able to trust in the longevity of policies and management requirements
• Despite the growth, life cycle methodologies are still a niche
• No global awareness of life cycle principles & approaches
• There is no global voice to support the application of Life Cycle approaches in government and industry policy and decision making
• A huge professional communication & stakeholder outreach effort is needed far beyond previous intent
