We are pleased to announce that we will again be awarding two Duane Heglie/NPTF Scholarship Awards for Fall 2018. Winners will be announced at the 2018 Tamkaliks Celebration in Wal-lowa, Oregon this July 20-22. Applications can be found and downloaded from the NPTF website -- http://nezpercetrail.net/nptf-scholarships/ *Winner need not be present, and will be notified by phone or email. Deadline is July 15th.

Also, we are continuing to accept reservations for this year’s NPTF Summer Educational Trail Tour scheduled for August 3-11. This trip will cover areas in Yellowstone National Park, WY to the Bear Paw Battlefield (near Chinook), MT. LEWIS-CLARK STATE ATHLETICS SUMMER CAMPS

MEN’S BASKETBALL (register online at LCWarriors.com; contact Leif Karlberg [email protected] | 208-792-2271 for information).

June 11-14 – High Potential Camp. Open to boys in grades 5-12. Options for day campers ($165, includes T-shirt and lunch) or overnight campers ($285, includes T-shirt, breakfast, lunch and dinner). The first 100 to register receive a free basketball. Camp is daily from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

June 15-17 – Summer Team Tournament. Fee is $275 per team. Open to varsity and junior varsity teams.

June 18-21 – Youth Skill and Development Camp. Open to boys in grades first-sixth. The fee is $80 per camp-er with a $5 discount for additional family members. Registration is from 8-9 a.m. on Monday, June 11, at the LC Ac-tivity Center. Camp is from 9 a.m. until noon daily.

June 8-10 – Summer Team Tournament. Cost is $275 per team. Open to varsity, junior varsity and select. Lodging available in the LC dorms for $8 per night per bed. Camp begins Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday.

June 18-21 – Warrior Shooting Camp. Cost is $100 and includes a T-shirt. The first 75 to register receive a free basketball. Open to grades 3-12. Camp is from 1-4 p.m. daily.

June 24-28 – Warrior Basketball Camp. Cost is $165 for day campers (includes T-shirt, notebook, basketball and lunch) and $285 for overnight campers (includes T-shirt, notebook, basketball, all meals, and room in dorms). There is a $15 discount per player for those registered as members of a high school team (minimum of five players). Camp is from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 9 a.m. until noon Thursday.

July 9-11 – Junior Warrior Camp. Open to grades third through sixth. Coast is $75 and includes a T-shirt and a free basketball to the first 75 who register. Camp is from 9 a.m. until noon daily.

(Sibling discount of $5 per camper; multi-camp discount of $25 for three camps or $35 for four camps)

July 16 – Intermediate Hitting Camp. Open to grades 8-12 with $50 fee per camper. Hours are 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Overnight accommodations are available for $50.

July 17 – Elite Hitting Camp (must have participated in the July 16 Intermediate Hitting Camp to be eligible). Open to grades 8-12. Fee is $80 with hours 9 a.m.-noon and 1:30-4:30 p.m.

July 18 – Serving and Passing Camp. Camp is open to grades 8-12 with a fee of $100 per camper. Camp is from 9 a.m. until noon, 1:30-4:30 p.m., and 6-9 p.m.

July 19 – Set Til You Drop Academy (STYDA). Open to grades 8-12 with fee of $100 per camper. Hours are 9 a.m.-noon, 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.

All camps are at Sweeney Track at Vollmer Bowl. Fees are $40 for the first day and $10 for each additional day. Camps are open to athletes 12 years old and older. Every camper receives a T-shirt. Sessions are from 9 a.m.-noon daily.

June 27 – High jump and pole vault

June 28 – Long jump and triple jump

June 29 – Shot put, discus and javelin

July 10-14 – Fee before June 10 is $315 and $375 from June 11-July 10. Camp is open to athletes 12 years old and older. First day of camp is at Lewis-Clark State College with the remaining days at Johnson Bar Campground on the Selway River. Meals and camping accommodations included.

Summer group lessons begin Monday, June 11, and continue for 10 weeks. All lessons are drop-in sessions. The rate is $5 per hour, $8.50 for 1½ hours and $10 for two hours. Lessons are Monday through Thursday weekly with 9-10 a.m. for beginners, 10-11:30 a.m. for intermediate juniors, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for advanced juniors and high school varsity players, and 1:30-3:30 p.m. for junior varsity players and advanced intermediate players. Rac-quets and balls will be provided.
