Aventura’s Licentia Engine (LPR/ANPR) possesses all the features a high quality license plate rec-ognition system requires. It is highly accurate, fail safe and stable, fast and intelligent, providing performance exceeding that of many competing license plate readers.

License plate information is stored in database form and is search-able by date, time, and partial (or complete) plate numbers. The plate information is also made accessible to third-party software through an API, allowing extensive use of plate data for any desired application, including black-lists, white-lists, and alarm functions.

Aventura’s Licentia offers IP license plate reading from digital pictures from any source. From megapixel images with 12-bit color depth to standard recording from analog CCTV cameras, the engine processes the information available from the source imagery with accuracy approaching that of a human.

Proper LPR functionality does not require advanced knowledge. The software in-telligently adapts to most applications, including various plate types and lighting conditions, without requiring the tuning of parameters and settings.
