therefore to entrust its maintenance to an authorized Lombardini Marine service station

which will ensure the complete reliability of your engine and advise for better use.

Thanks to the expertise of our network will have the guarantee that all of the operations, suggested by

producer, will be carried out.

This manual describes the maintenance program and the warranty conditions of the engine;

Therefore, we invite you to read it carefully and follow scrupulously the information of this document.

Lombardini Marine with this formula ensures engines and generators for 36 months from the date of the commissioning coupon.

The commissioning coupon that activates the 36 months warranty must be carried outno later than 6 months from the date of signing of this contract.For engines or generator sets installed for business or commercial use 36 months warranty may not be required.The 36 months warranty must be required at the time of engine or generator purchasing, asking the implementation to your dealer.

The 36 months warranty makes a provision for the user an engine commissioning coupon to be carried out by an authorizedLombardini Marine service who, once shown the suitability of the installation, will transmit the date of start to LombardiniMarine; involves also a number of periodic maintenance coupons (as reported on a special coupons booklet ) to be alwaysperformed using an authorized Lombardini Marine service using original Lombardini Marine spare parts.The costs for the couponsare at user's charge.In the case of special applications involving considerable modifications to the cooling , lubrication, turbocharger , filtration, aresubject to the special provisions of warranty expressly agreed in writing or as defined above in case you performed an approvaltest application issued by R&D of Lombardini Marine.Within the above terms Lombardini Marine is committed directly or through its authorized service centers , to carry out the repairof its products free of charge if, in its judgment or the judgment of his authorized representative to be defective in conformity,manufacturing or material .

The repair of a product will not renew or extend the duration of the warranty period.Lombardini Marine covers costs for embark and disembark of the engine or the generator set or for hauling and launching of theBoat where necessary for repair under warranty up to a maximum of € 750.00; does not cover any towing or stop the boatcharges, cost for accommodation and meals for stops arising by warranty repair of the engine or generator set , costs fordismantling and reassembly of different parts of the vessel necessary to enable the repair of the engine or the generator set.Lombardini Marine also does not recognizes any claims for expenses for damages to persons or property and for any loss of earnings resulting from the stop period of the engine or generator set.

The obligations of Lombardini Marine in the 36 months warranty, are not valid in the case where:-The engines or generator sets are not installed in accordance with the instructions given on the

Lombardini Marine owner's use and maintenance booklet supplied with each engine or generator set.-The use and maintenance of engines or generator sets are not in accordance with the instructionsof Lombardini Marine shown in the use and maintenance booklet.

-Any tampering of the seals affixed by Lombardini Marine-Fuel supply systems and fuel injection systems are damaged by unsuitable or polluted fuel.-Electrical system failure is due to components not supplied or not installed

by Lombardini Marine or installed in unsuitable environments.-The engines or generator sets have been disassembled, repaired or altered by workshop not authorized by Lombardini Marine.-You have not made ??the required service coupons as 36 months warranty booklet at

authorized Lombardini Marine workshops or non-original parts have been used.-Upon expiration of 36 months period from the date of the commissioning coupon,

if reports of any damage are not received directly or through authorized workshops,Lombardini Marine will be free from any liability and any obligations.

With this formula, Lombardini Marine offers the opportunity to extend the duration of the warranty period of your engine or generatorfrom 24 to 36 months, however, without any restrictions on the running hours.Warranty extension to 36 months may not be required for engines or generator sets installed for business or commercial use.Warranty extension to 36 months may be obtained from theLombardini Marine sales network in the same time you purchase the engine or generator set.At purchase, the user should ask the dealer the implementation of the 36-month warranty.In case of acceptance of the 36 months warranty, the "Contract of 36 months warranty" will be drawn up between the buyer and the seller, and sent a copy to the LombardiniMarine e-mail: [email protected]

The choice of the 36-month warranty entails, by the customer, the conditions proposed by Lombardini Marine which consist of:

1) After installation on board, an authorized Lombardini Marine will carry out the commissioning of the engineorgenerator set performing all of the controls and the operations listed in the "commissioning coupon" included inthe handbook, the same workshop will validate with stamp and signature the occurred “commissioning coupon”and shall send a copy (by email or regular mail) to Lombardini Marine, by the date of "commissioning coupon”the 36-months warranty will start.

2)Make the scheduled service coupons at an authorized Lombardini Marine service station, using exclusively originalspare parts, and each coupon must be stamped and signed by the Lombardini Marineservice station who, in turn, will keep a copy.

3)Displaying the booklet of coupons, duly completed, to the authorizedLombardini Marine service in the event of a warranty claim.

4) In case of sale or transfer of the vessel, please provide the compilationof the page "Change Owner" in this booklet coupons.

5) In case of replacement of the gear box or the s-drive, please provide thecompilation of the page "Change gear box / s-drive" in this booklet coupons

6) In case of loss of the "coupons booklet", please report immediately the incident to theservice dpt in Lombardini Marine: [email protected]

All expenses of the above coupons are at customer's charge.The 36-month warranty will expire if the above will not be carried out regularly.
