Maniam who is my my neighbour lives in Putrajaya. He works as teacher in a school
for blinds. Every morning, he takes a walk to work place because his house is just a stonesthrow away from there.
Last Monday, Maniam was walking in front of his office. He wanted to cross the road to graba lunch .. Suddenly, two boys followed him and made fun of him because he was using awalking stick to walk. Maniam ignored the boys.
A few minutes later, the traffic cleared. As soon as the boys saw it, they rushed to snatch hiswalking stick. Maniam could not move when the boy pulled his walking stick. He held thestick but the other boy pushed him and unfortunately, he fell. A policeman saw the mischiefand hurried to help Maniam.
The policeman caught the boys red handed and a scolded them for being very rude. Otherpeople are furious at the boys too. They cried and felt guilty. They apologized to Maniam.
However, Maniam was a kind-hearted man . He knew that the boys had learnt their lesson. The boys promised not to be rude in future. It was an expensive experience for them thatthey will never forget. As the saying goes experience is the best teacher.
