PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

Bears in Your Neighborhood: Free. For adults. No registration required. Join us on Tuesday, March 31st from 6:00 -

7:00 PM, for a presentation on how to live and interact safely with bears in our area from Morgan Lucot of the Florida

Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

ESOL: Free. For adults. No registration required. Meets weekly on Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. Come and practice

your English conversational speaking skills. Please call the Adult Literacy League at 407-422-1540 for more

information.

Flying Needles: Free. For adults and teens 15+. No registration required. Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month

from 5:00 - 7:30 PM. Flying Needles offers you a place to knit, crochet, or do other needlework. Bring your own project,

share tips and techniques, and learn from each other. Meet your friends or make new ones and catch up on your

“stitches.”

Family Game Night: Free. For the whole family. No registration required. 4th Tuesday of every month from 5:30 - 7:00

PM. Card games, board games, and other fun activities the whole family can enjoy! All materials provided by the library.

Family Movie Night: Free. For the whole family. No registration required. Join us for Family Movie Night on

Monday, March 30th at 5:45 PM for a showing of Dumbo. Bring your own blanket and snacks and enjoy the movie!

Game Changers: Free. For middle and high school students. No registration required. Meets weekly on Saturdays from

12:30 - 2:30 PM. Get together with your friends and challenge each other to fun board games and role playing!

Good Morning Book Club: Free. For adults. No registration required. Meets the 4th Wednesday of every month. Join

us Wednesday, March 25th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM for a lively, in-depth discussion of Where the Crawdads Sing. Copies

of the book are available at the circulation desk for check out.

Landscaping with Colorful Native Wildflowers: Free. For adults. No registration required. Learn which flowers to

plant when, how, and where in order to maximize the burst of colors and pollinators in your yard on Saturday, March 28th

from 10:00-11:00 AM.

Novels at Night Book Club: Free. For adults. No registration required. Meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Join

us Wednesday, March 11th from 6:30 - 7:30 PM for a lively, in-depth discussion of The Only Woman in the Room.

Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk for check out.

Teen Dungeons & Dragons: Free. For middle & high school students. No registration required. 2nd and 4th

Wednesdays of the month from 5:00 - 7:30 PM. All levels welcome. If you’ve never played, our expert teen coaches will

teach you!

Teen Movie Night: FREE for teens (ages 13+). No registration required. Join us for Movie Night on Monday, March

2nd at 5:00 PM for a showing of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse.

Writers’ Room: Free. For adults. No registration required. Our March program will be on Monday, March 23rd from

1:00 – 3:00 PM. Come join your fellow writers every month for tips, feedback, and companionship. Writers' Room is a

place to practice writing activities, workshop written work, and learn from your fellow writers in a supportive

environment. Please bring a short sample of your work, about 2 pages, to share with the group.
