Meditation 1 Peter 1:18-19 “… you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from
your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
Prelude Welcome and Announcements Pastor Barry Silent Prayer of Preparation Call to Worship Psalm 34:1-8,22 Invocation *Hymn of Praise Praise the Lord #70 *Confession of Faith The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended to hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic* church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. *Catholic means universal
*Doxology Confession of Sin Father, this morning we come to the table of our Lord. You have warned us not to partake of this sacrament unworthily. So we humbly repent of the sins we have committed since we last sought your forgiveness. We repent of times when we did not demonstrate the fruit of your Holy Spirit, when we were impure in our thoughts, in our speech, or in our actions. We repent of times when we were ungrateful for your provisions, and covetous of what you have given others. We repent of unkindness in our interactions with others, even those in our own family. We repent of times when we lost our temper. We confess times when we were selfish, and times when we were proud. We
confess wasted hours, and days of little prayer. We confess a neglect of your Word, and disregard for the souls of others. For these and countless other sins of commission and omission, we plead the blood of Christ. Forgive us, then, we pray, for His dear sake. Amen. Words of Assurance Gal 4:4-5 when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[a] of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Col 1:13-14 Installation and Ordination of Officers Shepherding Prayer Elder Glenn Cote *Songs of Praise

Ephesians 1:7-14 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both[a] which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[b] is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
