First: I reviewed the transactions in Linkpoint. For Nov. 7th and Nov. 8th, you had lessthan $100.00 declined - all in $20 transactions and 1 $100.00 transaction marked "fraud".

There was another transaction that was declined, but the person resubmitted it on another credit card, which went through. I think this is likely due to the change I made todaywhich provides a message suggesting they try another card.

On the website: I have take a commenting system and made some programming changes

to it so that it will provide what is needed. I will install it in the morning.

A couple of items:

Are they also going to maintain the website for free?

Have you checked them out? Do you know they can perform?

With the Supreme Court stuff happening this week, switching web hosts could create

downtime at a critical moment.

I will note that it does seem strange that they would make hosting your website a

condition of donating money. I would be sure you understand their motivation and

intentions. It is quite common for people who have high traffic websites to be approached by people who want to use the website's high profile to advance themselves.

Geoff,

On January 28, 2009 you illegally charged Philip J. Berg's credit card in the amount of $67.20, there may have been more charges that we are not aware of as of this date.Geoff, this is theft.

Phil fired you some time back. At that time, you refused to release to to Phil his passwords, domain names, control of his website, etc. until Phil paid a bill which was for duplicate and triplicate charges. Phil paid the fraudulent bill in order to obtain his

domain names, passwords, and control of his website. Since Phil obtained control of hisdomain names, website, passwords, etc. we learned that you fraudulently purchased moredomain names so they would not be able to be moved for 60 days.

Additionally, you have never refunded the money owed to Phil for the annually prepaidweb hosting.

You had absolutely NO authorization to charge Phil's credit card. Unfortunately, this isnot the first time you have done this. You illegally charged in exccess of $800 to Phil'scredit card without authorization, which over-drafted Phil's bank account and cost himfurther amounts of money. To date Phil has never been reimbursed for these fraudulentand illegal charges. You were ONLY authorized to use Phil's card in August for initialset up fees. You should not have maintained Phil's credit card, nor should you have beenfreely using Phil's credit card. These are crimes Geoff.

You were given Phil's credit card information on August 21, 2008 for purchase of Phil'sdomain names, a one time charge and nothing more. You have NEVER been authorizedto maintain Phil's credit card information and you certainly have NOT been authorized tocharge his credit card since the original purchase on August 21, 2008.

It is illegal for any merchant to maintain a person's credit card information withoutexplicit written authorization. It is further illegal to charge a person's credit card withoutauthorization.

I trust you will reverse these charges IMMEDIATELY, destroy Phil's credit cardinformation and refrain from using Phil's credit card, which you are not and have not been authorized to use. You were instructed to destroy Phil's credit information after theinitial set-up, you were further instructed after the last time you charged Phil's credit cardwithout permission and authorization, which was illegally done.
