What is a Hub?

A hub is a central place where all members of the community can gather to have a variety of needs met.

It can be a place where people come to access services and resources.

It can be a place where young children are cared for, where older children play, where youth “hang-out” safely with friends, and where seniors come to socialize.

A hub is more than the sum of its parts

We Can Imagine the Possibilities

Off and on for eleven years we attempted to respond to appeals from community agencies to open a branch office in Aldergrove. We were constantly thwarted by

a lack of facilities and inadequate transit services.Bart Begalka, - Director Fraser River Counseling

We sincerely hope that you will listen to those who present the concept to you on May 26th and do all you can to encourage, support and help us put this vision

into realityPauline Huth, Administrator – Langley Meals on Wheels

If the old school could be turned into a community centre I would volunteer to teach knitting.
