I have a Lenovo legion with usb-c will this work with the monitor not sure if usb-c and thunderbolt 3 is thesamething?

You can plug a USB-C device and cable into a Thunderbolt 3 port whenever you want because Thunderbolt 3 fullysupports USB-C. USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 both utilize the same reversible port, but while USB-C and Thunderbolt3 port look the same, Thunderbolt 3 has some extra hardware compared to the more widely-adopted USB-C. yourUSB-C accessories and cables will work with a Thunderbolt 3 port. All Thunderbolt 3 ports are also USB-C ports.However, the same cannot be said for the other way around; not all USB-C ports are also Thunderbolt 3 ports.Thunderbolt 3 was developed by Intel and offers high-bandwidth data transfers between devices, with maximumtransfer rates of 40Gbps (or 5GB/s) available. Importantly, it's also built on PCI Express (PCIe) and DisplayPort,and this goes to why Thunderbolt 3 cables and accessories, for the most part, aren't compatible with USB-C onlyports. Because USB-C doesn't use PCIe. USB-C is merely the latest generation of the USB standard, somethingthat's been present in everything from computers to cameras to phones for a while now. So when you try to plug ina Thunderbolt 3 accessory to a USB-C port, it just won't work because there's no PCIe controller in the USB-Cport. However, while you can't use most Thunderbolt 3 devices with a USB-C port, the same isn't true the otherway around. You can plug a USB-C device and cable into a Thunderbolt 3 port whenever you want becauseThunderbolt 3 fully supports USB-C. Windows is officially unsupported on the LG 24 inch UltraFine 4K UHD IPSMonitor with macOS Compatibility, Model # 24MD4KL-B but the display can mostly work with a Windows PC thatsupports Thunderbolt 3 and you will only get 4K as a maximum resolution...^IFV

Hello, Will this monitor be able to display 4k 60hz and charge an iPad pro 2018 at the same time with theusb c cable? So far, all other monitors I discovered are limited to 4k 30 hz + charging or 4k 60 hz withoutcharging. Thanks in advance!

I purchased 2 of the new 24" LG UltraFine 4K monitors, I have them installed side by side, the one of theleft the whites look more "blueish" and the one of the right has "warmer" whites, what is the best way tocalibrate the colors on both of them.

Depending on what operating system you have in your PC/Laptop if it is Windows 10, Windows 10 has built-incolor calibration utility. You can go to Start > PC Settings > System > Display. Select the Color Management tab,then click Color Management. Select the Advanced tab then click Calibrate display. This will start the Display ColorCalibration wizard. It will work with USB c connection. Just can't figure out how to change brightness . I'm using a Dell latitude withUSB c. Daisy chaining 2 monitors will only work with thunderbolt 3.

Hey. I just bought 2 of these monitors. I connected it to a Windows laptop with USB c only no thunderbolt and itworks great. Jsut can't figure out how to adjust the brightness. Also no Daisy chain through USB c Daisy chain onlyworks with thunderbolt.
