Staff Opening: Chancel Choir and Handbell Choir Director
The search has begun for a new director of the LUMC Chancel Choir and the Chapel Ringers handbell ensemble. We are looking for someone with choral experience, a passion for worship, and a desire to be an integral part of a team. This is a part-time position through the months of September through May. The compensation will be $25/hour. Please help us advertise this posi-tion by sharing this information with persons you know who may be interest-ed. This employment opportunity will be posted on the church’s Facebook page as well, and we ask that you please “share” our post when you see it to help us get the word out. Resumes may be submitted by e-mailing it to [email protected] by July 15th. Please indicate in your cover letter whether you are interested in one position (Choir Director OR Handbell Di-rector) or a combined position of directing both ensembles.
Special “Note” to the Chancel Choir & Handbell Ensemble
Input Needed for Hiring of New Director All who participate in the Chancel Choir & Handbell ensembles are invited to gather in the Asbury Room here at LUMC on Monday, July 8th at 6pm for con-versation….and dinner, too! We will provide pizza, salad, and dessert. Just come and join representatives from the Staff Parish Relations Committee and staff who want to receive your input to aid in the process of hiring a new mu-sic ministry staff person. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to Lara Edwards who will pass the discussion points on to you so that you can still offer your input. Lara’s e-mail address is [email protected].

****************************** I want to thank all of our dear friends in the church and commu-nity for the prayers, thoughts, love, cards, food, visits and phone calls over the last three months of Jesse’s illness. Jesse loved this church so much!! I don’t know how we would have made it through without your support!!! I am so grateful! Love, Donna Ream
