I have trouble parking my car with all the students, faculty, and hikers using the same small parking lot. Kodiak College would benefit from a solution for the parking problem. As a busy college student, I do not want to spend unnecessary time fighting for a parking space when I should be taking a test or writing a paper. I would greatly appreciate a solution for the parking on campus, even if extending the parking lot is not an option. There are low-cost solutions for the parking lot problem. For example, you might consider reserving some parking only for students, so the general public will park closer to the trails. If the faculty brainstormed ideas, I’m sure Kodiak College could find an inexpensive solution for the lack of parking. Improved parking at Kodiak College would reduce stress and headaches for me and other students, faculty, and the trail hikers. Thank you for considering my request for better parking at Kodiak College. I hope you find an effective way to fix the parking dilemma soon. Sincerely,

Dear Ms. Bolson:

I am a student at Kodiak College, and I have become frustrated with the lack of parking on campus.

Sincerely,
