I found out about the recruitment program through IMMT’s Facebook Group. Having read the opening recruitment for the laboratory assistant position, I believe this great experience as part of the Laboratory Assistant of Corrosion and Metal Protection could definitely help me improve my Corrosion and Extractive Metallurgy knowledges and application skills, while having the opportunity to bring my best contribution to every mission I would be assigned. I am currently an undergraduate in 6 th semester of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from University of Indonesia. Corrosion and Extractive Metallurgy are fields that always fascinated me right from the beginning of my college days. My interest in this field arises when NACE SCUI 2013 introduced and promoted about the organization and corrosion science when I was in beginning of my freshmen year. I find out more about corrosion and extractive metallurgy from seniors, friends, family, literatures, internet and any other sources and I began to consider it as my passion because this two field can help me to work on oil & gas and mining industries. This two fields also considered to be difficult to be learned but the high demands and job opportunity from companies and industries regarding the Engineer Graduates with this qualification is what interests me even more.

with the development of my presentation, leadership, and
problem-solving skill but also to express my passions on those two
fields above with tendencies on Corrosion fields including the
hardskills, application skills, and organizational experiences. I
am a person who eager to learn numerous new things, have high
motivation, able to work individually or as part of team, and
easily adapt to new environment. As such, I hope to be able to
further develop my skills and obtain more opportunities to enhance
