Dear Mrs. Yap,

Every Month of October is the celebration of Scouting Month as declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 1326. Presidential Proclamation No. 267 has also declared the month of October of every year as National Childrens Month to emphasize the importance on the role of a child within the Filipino family and within the Philippine Society. The same Proclamation upheld the Constitutional declaration which the State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth, patriotism and nationalism, and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs (Section 13, Article III).

Our theme for the celebration of Scouting Month is SCOUTS: EDUCATION FOR LIFE. In connection to this, we would like to inform to you the highlights of our activities for this month. Scouting Month Celebration Every Friday All scouts are requested to join the flag ceremony at SAS Quadrangle. After that, we will have a short program as an opening of the Scouting Month. Officers Seminar Workshop October 5 Council Sunrise Parade October 07 Scouting Tour October 12 A tour that relates the Filipino culture and Historical Places. Patrol/Crew Leader Training Course (PLTC/CLTC) October 25-27 Oplan Kaluluwa 2013 Oct 31 & Nov 1 Community Service together with Society of Individual of Radio and Civic Communication Inc. (SIRAC) taken care of Mr. Andrew Marquez of SIRAC President.

Dear Mrs. Yap,

Greetings!

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines Paraaque City Council will hold its Patrol Leader Training Course for Boy Scouts and Crew Leader Training Course for Senior Scouts on October 25-27, 2013 (Friday to Sunday) at Manila Ocean Park. The program will start at exactly 4:00PM.

We are going to send our scouts to participate the said event. This activity benefits each scout to become a better leader from their crew and to this organization. It is also part of their Advancement Training.

Please refer to the Council Memorandum No. 16 s. 2013 for more detail about the event.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines Paraaque City Council will be having the COUNCIL SUNRISE PARADE on October 07, 2013 Monday at Greenhills going to Paraaque City Hall as a part of their celebration for the Scouting Month, Scouts: Education for Life.

We are going to send our scouts to participate the said activity to represent our School. Please refer to the Council Memorandum No. 17 s. 2013 for more detail about the event.

Attached to this letter is the list of scouts who will be joining the Sunrise Parade.
