Let’s watch our volunteer efforts double their impact this summer by helping not only our local community, but also rebuilding life for kids in Syria! This summer, our children’s and youth ministry is working to raise $10,000 for The Amar Project, an initiative of Partners Relief and Development to rebuild schools in Syria. Our Global Missions Ministry wants to support our kids in their efforts, so they have offered to contribute $10 per volunteer hour* to the project fund for each and every volunteer activity done by the little and big kids in our church! So if you deliver Meals on Wheels for an hour, that’s $10. Did your little sister go too? Make that $20! Spend 3 hours one morning picking up trash for Keep Midland Beautiful? That’s $30! For volunteer activities arranged by the church, we’ll keep track of everyone’s hours. But families can join in as well on their own time! Keep track of family service hours on this sheet and turn it into Carrie McKean at the church office by August 10, 2018. And if you fill up this sheet, pick up another one in The Commons at the Syrian school display. Volunteer Name Volunteer Activity Total # of Hrs. Parent Signature Need Ideas?
