INTRODUCTİON

“The book, Universe And Man, explains the construction of the universe and its relationship with the structure of man.  Man is created in the

image of the universe (God).

CONSTRUCTİON OF THE UNİVERSE

Phyical World

•“The manifested universe is nothing more than consciousness crudified with the power of the tama guna.

•Through this crudifying process (centripetal force), the five elements are created:

Ethereal factor Aerial factor

Luminous factor Liquid factor Solid factor

•The manifested universe consists of these five elements.”

Pranic World

•The second world is the prana (mutative force, raja guna) in the universe, or the life-force (the breath of life).

•Through prana (mutative force), all activities are done and the coordination (through the satva guna, intelligence) in the universe is achieved. Without prana, there would be no life and no activities.

•The prana is everywhere in the universe in many different forms. It is mixed with ether and functions through it. The ether in the universe is the memory of the universe or the Akashic Records.

Lower Mental World

•The mundane decisions for the external world are made in this part of the Universal Mind, which are the collective lower thoughts of the individual plus the lower thoughts for maintenance of the manifested universe.

•In this third layer, the raja (mutative) and satva (sentient) forces are active, but are under the influence of the tama guna (external world).

Higher Mental World

•In the universe, this can be called the supramental world. The origin of noble thoughts and ideals occurs with this part, the unconscious mind.

Beyond Mind

•This state in the universe is also the state of "All is He," the beginning of the shattering of ignorance. It is the collective joy of those who have realized this state.

Complete Control of the Mind

•This state in the universe is known as savikalpa

•Or the state of closeness to objectless-ness.

Withdrawal

•This state in the universe is that of sat and the world in this state is called satayaloka. It is the absolute state, Pure Consciousness.

•The last two states are described as indescribable.

STRUCTURE OF MAN

Koshas & Chakras

• The chakras and koshas were devised to explain two aspects of human existence.

• Soul or the unit consciousness in its ordinary state is unaware of its divinity, the chakras, or the layers of the mind (koshas) in the body.

• But through meditation, or for any other reason, the latent spiritual awareness which is called "kundalini" (sleeping serpent in the first chakra) might be awakened..

• The message received from any chakra and the level of the awareness of the person creates the sheath of the mind (kosha) or the layer he is in.

• So actually the layers of the mind and the first five chakras are, in a sense, the same. It depends on how the Soul responds to the messages received from the chakras.

• The relationship between lokas (worlds), koshas (layers of the mind), and chakras (spiritual centers in the human body) should be understood as not being separate things but parts of a whole inter-related system.

Koshas & Chakras

First Chakra

• The first energy center (chakra) controls solid factor.

• The propensities in this chakra are: physical longing (physiological and safety needs), psychic longing (desire to know), psycho-spiritual longing (desire to know the unknown -- unconscious mind), and spiritual longing (desire to know God).

• The first chakra is completely dominated by Tama Guna and is related to the first sheath or kosha.

•The crudest sheath is the physical body, as the crudest world is the manifested world.

•The human body or the grossest layers of human existence consist of the same five elements that are in the Universe.

•Each cell in the body is an independent entity, existing in a collective effort for the well-being of the whole of the body and Soul.

Physical Kosha

•The second chakra controls liquid factor.

•The second chakra is related to pranic functions in the body. Sexual activity is a bodily pranic function. That is why this chakra is so powerful. It uses prana (raja guna, Grace) directed toward the external world (absence of The Divine Logic).

•The influence of this chakra results in heedless actions and excess sexual desires.

•Some propensities in this chakra are distrust, proudfulness, overindulgence, pitilessness, or mercilessness, and fear of annihilation.

•This chakra is under the influence of the raja guna and related to the Pranic Kosha.

Second Chakra

•This sheath, which is prana (life-force), is the coordinator and controller of the contacts between different organs and the whole body to the mind.

•The prana, which is outgoing energy of the Soul (raja guna), has no knowledge or power of decision-making, but follows the orders given from the intelligent part of the mind (satva guna).

•That is why it can be used or misused according to the level of consciousness of the user. It is the life-force in the human.

•The outgoing prana (life-force) from the Soul becomes heedless desire (passion). The ingoing prana to the Soul becomes will (controller of desires).

Pranic Kosha

Third Chakra

•The third chakra controls luminous factor (heat in the body which is mostly generated from the digestive system).

•The creative energy of the mind is directed toward the mundane external world. General longing is to gain control over others by misuse of power.

•Some of the propensities of this chakra are: backbiting, slandering or betraying, over-attachment even though the person knows it is not good, melancholy, cruelty, lethargy, jealousy, fear, aversion and hatred, shame, and bashfulness.

•The mental sphere in man is the beginning of the internal part of man.

•The first level is the subconscious mind or subconscious sheath. It is the part which internalizes the external world.

•Whatever is in the external world will be created in this part and stored away to be used later.

•In this lower part of the mind, the desires toward the external world reside. In other words, the energy (prana) is directed outward (desires). So we can say it is the part that the "beast" (Rev. 13:1), which symbolizes desire, arises from.

Subconscious Kosha

•This third kosha is the most important layer to be understood, because it is in this state that individuals use their intelligence to manipulate the external world for satisfaction of their gross desires.

•That is also why this is the center where longing for wealth, possession, and power to satisfy one's selfish desires (two first chakras) is located.

•Therefore, control of this chakra or layer of the mind (kosha) is very important by individuals and society in general.

Subconscious Kosha

•The fourth chakra controls the aerial factor (lungs).

•The energy starts to flow upward when the kundalini reaches this chakra. That is why the unconditional Love is experienced in this chakra for the first time.

•The healing power also starts when energy begins to flow upward to the fourth chakra and higher.

•Some of the propensities in this chakra are: sense of possessiveness, anxiety, arrogance and vanity, covetousness, hypocrisy, indecision (being in the crossroads of falling back to the lower nature or progressing further), unnecessary argument, regret and misery, endeavor, discrimination between right and wrong, and hope.

Fourth Chakra

•In this sheath in the human, the noble or higher thoughts reside. It is deeper in man and the origin of the thoughts are not from the external world but from the internal.

•The prana (energy) is directed internally and not externally. So the higher thoughts arise and prana becomes willpower and imagination (creative mind) instead of heedless desires.

•The life of the person in this sheath becomes more under his control and he strives for things higher than only mundane satisfactions ("Man does not live by bread alone").

•It is the beginning of spiritual feelings and joy.

•It is the place of unconditional Love.

Higher Thougths Kosha

•The fifth chakra controls ethereal factor.

•A blissful state of mind will be experienced in this level.

•The etheric reality and the purpose of this manifested creation will become clear to the person.

•People who feel they are in touch with some ethereal being(s) are in this level. They usually and strongly feel they are a channel for this (these) being(s).

Fifth Chakra

•This is the state when it is realized that all is Mind or all is God. It is the state of the beginning of freedom.

•It is the state where a great joy (Ananda) is experienced.

•The person comes in contact with the ethereal world.

•All the activities and their purposes in the external world (spiritual logic) become clear to him.

•However, still the person is in bondage and has not yet mastered his mind.

Beyond Mind Kosha

•It is in the sixth chakra that all illusion of separation (koshas) from God is shattered and no trap remains. Then such a person becomes a pure channel from the Most High (direct from God with no intermediary).

•Such a person is a true Light Worker (Paravipra).

•This is the Highest achievement on earth!

Sixth Chakra

•The sixth state in man is beyond any sheath. No kosha (sheath, layer of the mind) is left and the person experiences infinity, great powers, and knowledge.

•He realizes that "I am He," or that he is god also and can enter into Pure Consciousness and return, because a thin thread is still left between him and Him.

•He becomes the master of his mind (three gunas).

•He becomes a son of God.

•But he still maintains a small "i" to keep him in the body. Such a person is called a Satguru or perfect master (man-god).

“I am He”

•In the seventh chakra, the Soul quiets its three gunas and becomes pure intuition.

•In both the sixth and seventh levels, a unit consciousness is in the state of Pure Consciousness.

•In the sixth he uses the three gunas to help others and he feels the infinity,

•In the seventh he is in Pure Consciousness without maintaining a physical body.

Seventh Chakra

•The seventh is the state of complete mastering of the illusion of separation.

•The only thing left is will and the creative mind. There is no separation between "I am" and "I AM."

•However, through will, he can return to his individual nature as an Avatar.

•There is no heedless desire left but a will to help others reach the goal also.

•The direction of prana is completely internalized.

Perfect Rest

• In The Greatest Sign, the first sign ( ) is also the last one ( ).

• The first sign is the awakening of the spiritual forces (kundalini).

• The kundalini resides in the first chakra before it arises to higher ones. When it reaches the seventh chakra a person is in Pure Consciousness.

• This process can be achieved by following spiritual practices such as meditation, breathing, chanting, etc.

• The rest of The Greatest Sign, however, not only will help the Kingdom Of Heaven to be established on Earth, but also will accelerate the processes of reaching Pure Consciousness.

RELATİONSHİP

The Self or Soul or Atman ("I am") is the controller of the three levels

of the unit mind:

The three gunas.

Satva Guna (Mahatatva)

Raja Guna (Ahamtatva)

Tama Guna (Chitta)

• Chitta or projective part is a protoplasmic (etheric) form which is affected by the messages received from the senses.

• Through this screen, the projection of the object of the senses to the mind occurs.

• It is then recognized by the raja part (Ahamtattva) and decisions are made by the satva guna part (Mahatattva).

Decision Making

• The crudest part of the mind (Chitta), or fine ether, is directly connected to the ethereal body (astral body) which contains the first five chakras in the human body (there are seven chakras in the body).

• The decision-making part of the mind receives messages from these chakras on how to react to the situation.

• Through spiritual progress, as the person develops to higher centers (higher sheaths), the decisions become more universally oriented and less self-centered (not from fear or passion or selfishness).

Decision Making

• When reasoning is self-centered, the action is gross, and desires arise from self-gratification and sensual satisfaction, or other desires from the lower nature, then man is drawn toward Maya and he will be lost in the illusion of being separate.

• So he goes to “hell."

• That is when the reasoning becomes gross and actions create bondage. This in turn creates desires and attachments, and the mind becomes "false ego" or unspiritualized.

Decision Making

• The nervous system and the brain are entirely different than the mind.

• The nerves carry the messages from the external world and internal organs to the Chitta, with the help of the Pancha tatwa.

• The brain is a storage unit which contains experiences and learning of the present lifetime, and it will degenerate after death.

INFİNİTE RANGE İN THE UNİVERSE

• The elements in the manifested universe, in a broad and general way, are divided into seven categories: the consciousness, three gunas, ethereal factor, aerial factor, luminous factor, liquid factor, and solid factor.

• However, there is not a clear-cut way to separate each category from the following or the previous ones.

• There are also infinite stages which can be found in each category and overlap to the next or with the previous one.

• So we have to create this ability not to see everything in black and white but always as an infinite spectrum of possibilities, and still these infinite ranges are changing in time (I-Ching).

LAST POİNT• Although the universe or its worlds are divided into seven levels, in

the spiritual Hierarchy (Hierarchy in the Kingdom Of Heaven), there are two more states.

• In the sixth and seventh stages, a man becomes a son of God (god). But before man was created there were two beings in this state.

• The eighth state is the state of the First Begotten Son,

• The ninth is the state of the Father.

CONCLUSİON• The topics in the “Universe and Man” book are very detailed and

very intricate.

• Therefore this is intended to present the main logic and general information in this book as simply as possible.

• Those who would like to find out more details will be best served by reading, studying and contemplating on the “Universe and Man” book itself.
