Lessons From Naaman

The account of the healing of Naaman the leper is recorded in 2 Kings 5. He was a great man, but a leper (v. 1). A “little maid” was an instrument (v. 2ff.). Naaman was “wroth” and refused (v. 11). Naaman wanted to tell Elisha how (v. 11). Naaman listened to his servants (v. 13).

Lessons From Naaman

Leprosy was one of the dread diseases: Loathsome (cp. Lev. 13: 1, 2). Contagious. Deceptive. Not inherited. Tendency to be progressive. Only cured by God (2 Kings 5: 7).
