It is on the 15th day of the eighth lunar( 阴历 ) month.

It usually comes in September or October( 十月 ).

2.What do we usually eat on that day?

We usually eat a big dinner and mooncakes.

3.Why do some people like to eat outside( 在外边 ) on that day?

Because they want to watch the moon.

4.What does the moon look like on that day?

The moon looks brighter and rounder on that day.

Halloween is on the night of October 31st,when it was believed that the spirits of dead people appeared,and which is now celebrated by children who dress as witches,ghosts,etc.

万圣节在十月三十一日的夜晚 , 这个时候被认为是死人的灵魂会出现的时候 .在这一天 , 人们 , 尤其是孩子们喜欢扮装成巫婆或是鬼魂的样子来庆祝这个节日 .

In America it is on the last Thursday of November.

In Canada it is on the second Monday of October.

On that day families get together( 团聚 ) to celebrate the harvest( 收获 ).

The moon on that night is called the Harvest Moon.

People like to eat turkeys( 火鸡 ) and pies( 馅饼 ) on their Thanksgiving Dinner.
