Specific: 1. Pupils will be able to write short sentences correctly at least 3 out of 5. 2. Pupils will be able to show confident in front of classroom.

Previous knowledge: 1) Pupils have learnt hobbies in previous lesson. 2) Pupils have learnt about different types of hobbies in daily life.CCTS: Grouping and categorising, generating ideas, and making associations

Pupils, lets see and guess what are the hobbies.Cycling, fishing, dancing, singing, swimming and baking. 1. Teacher shows the pictures and actions of some hobbies and pupils will guess the actions.2. Teacher chooses three to five pupils to give more examples on hobbies.

Presentation (15 minutes)

Pupils, if you are interested with this kind of hobby, please cut out a smiley face.If you do not interested with this kind of hobby, please cut out a non-smiley face. I want to choose two pupils to have a try on the Smiley chart.

Ali: a. I like reading, swimming and reading.b. I do not like collecting stamps and playing football.3. Teacher pastes the Smiley chart on the board. 4. Teacher demonstrates on how to fill in the chart with smiley and non-smiley face showing likes and dislikes.5. Teacher calls out two pupils to try fill in the Smiley chart on the board.6. Teacher teaches them how to write the sentence structures.7. Pupils write their likes and dislikes in sentence form on a blank paper sheet.Teaching AidSmile chart

Practice( 25 minutes)

Please go to your group according to the numbers.There are four colours, each of your group member has to choose one colour represent yourself.Each of you only have to draw three smiley faces and three non-smiley faces on the sugar colour paper that you get. Then, cut off the smileyfaces and fill it in the Smiley chart with the hobbies that you like or dislike.Then, write down the short sentences below the chart.

Submit the Smiley chart to me.So heres your work. Isnt it beautiful?8. Teacher divides the class into four groups according to the numbers. 9. Each group will get different colourful sugar papers.10. Each pupil in group will take one colour represents themselves and draw the smiley and non-smiley face on the colour paper given.11. Pupils need to cut out the smiley face.12. Pupils paste the like and dislikes faces beside the hobbies.13. At the lower part, they need to write down each of their likes and dislikes in a sentence.14. Teacher collects all the group work and compile it into a Big Book called 2 Cemerlangs : HOBBIES: Likes and Dislikes. 15. Teacher shows the BIG BOOK to the class.
