UNIT 8 Reading:
T asks Ss if they read the newspaper and the different kind of written stories (news) inside it. T asks Ss to perform the reading activity on page 24. T explains unknown words. T and Ss check for the correct answers.
vocabulary: T explains the vocabulary (P.24)
Listening:T asks Ss if they know what a crime story is.T requests Ss to read the detective story. (T explains unknown words)T plays the audio for Ss to listen carefully.T Plays the audio again to check pronunciation.
Grammar: Past simple VS Past continuouso To make Ss aware when each Past works better: T provides Ss with a
handout (a text) where they realize how to use the verbal tenses.o T explains how to use past tenses in context (T clarifies any doubt).
