Vocabulary: Abra(n) el libro. Cierre(n) el libro. Diga(n) su nombre. Escriba(n) su nombre. Lea(n) el libro. Pónga(n)se de pie. Mire(n) hacia arriba. Mire(n) hacia abajo. Muéstre(n)me su cabeza. Saque(n) un bolígrafo. Siénte(n)se. Dé (Den) una vuelta. Corra(n) a la puerta. Camine(n) a la pizarra. Ponga(n) el lápiz en la mesa. Coja(n) la tiza. Escuche(n) la profesora. Materials Needed: Poster strips Tacks Activity sheets Students must have a book (of any kind) Students must have a pen 1. Comprehensible input: The teacher will introduce the commands by giving them and demonstrating them. She will introduce plural first and use those and get the students to practice doing the commands as she teaches. Then she will begin using singular commands to one student and ask the difference between the two. The students will need to have a book and a pen at their desks for this entire lesson to allow for TPR. 2. Reading input: The students will have a worksheet with pictures of the people doing the commands and a list of several written commands. The students must match the picture with the correct written command. 3. Listening input: The students will stand and play the game “Simon dice.” Teacher will say both singular and plural commands and students will perform them accordingly.
