Jesus did not remain dead. He

is not dead! He is alive!

Jesus loves us so much.

He did not only sufferand die on the cross for

us, but He also gives ushope and new life with

His Resurrection. This

only proves that Jesus

is our Savior!



The empty tomb proves that Jesus kept

His promise. That in three days He will rise

again.



Jesus’s friends had different reactions when they

first saw the empty tomb. But, they realized the

truth…that Jesus really is the Son of God who can

sacrifice His life for all of us and make Himself rise to

give us new life and hope!



And weremember this

event in Jesus’s life during

EASTER.



Easter is the MOST

IMPORTANT FEAST that the

Church is celebrating. If Jesus did not rise from the

dead, we would not have

been saved. Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we were

given a NEW LIFE and a

NEW HOPE. We were givena chance to live with God

again and become better

people.



The Resurrection tells us that:

Jesus is truly the Son of God.

Jesus is our Savior.

Jesus is our Hope.

Jesus is trustworthy.

Jesus is promising new life to us.



At Easter we celebrate NEW LIFE. We

gather as a Church to participate in

the Holy Mass and take theHoly Communion.

We remember what Jesus

did for us, and we

remember that

He is WITH US.



Paschal Candle or EASTER

CANDLE reminds us that

Jesus is risen. It also reminds

us that Jesus is the

“Light of the World.” Jesus defeated death.

He defeated sin!

There is no power that isstronger than Him. He is our

Lord and our God.



Jesus calls us to bring HOPE to others

too. Especially to those who are

suffering, who are sad and who are indarkness (sin).

1. What is Easter?

2. Why is it the most important

feast in the Church?

3. How can we help Jesus in

bringing hope to others?
