The Way You Choose to Think

The will to succeed is of littleconsequence unless it is matchedwith equal desire and drive to learnHOW to succeed. The learninghow always precedes thesuccessful venture. Most peoplehave never been taught that everysuccess or failure is shaped by thethoughts, imagination, andvisualization of a human mind. Infact, the condition you now callyour life was fashioned over timeby your thoughts, emotions, andrelated decisions and behaviors. We create our own realities withthought. The key components tosuccess or failure, happiness orunhappiness in one's life is the wayone CHOOSES to THINK, FEELand ACT moment by moment. The most powerful achievementdevice ever created, the humanmind, is the least understood andthe most misused and neglectedgift on earth. Yet, all winning isbased upon directing its' awesomepower with specific intent anddirection.

UNSTOPPABLE When a group of two hundred executives were asked what makes a person successful, eighty percent listed enthusiasm as the most important quality. More important than skill. More important than training. Even more important than experience. Before water will produce enough steam to power an engine, it must boil. The steam engine won't move a train an inch until the steam gauge registers 212 degrees. Likewise, the person without enthusiasm is trying to move the machinery of life withlukewarm water. Only one thing will happen: that person will stall. A. B. Zu Tavern asserts that enthusiasm is electricity in the battery. It's the vigor in the air. It's the warmth in the fire. It's the breath in all things alive. Successful people are enthusiastic about what they do. "Good work is never done in cold blood," he says, "heat is needed to forge anything. Every great achievement is the story of a flaming heart." You may have sufficient skill, training andexperience. Add enthusiasm to those assets and you will be truly unstoppable!

your new year with a bang! You’ll have a career that allows you to shoot for the stars without hitting a glass ceiling!

T’was the week before Christmas & all through the nation, Not a pinkjar was stirring, not even foundation. The cases were hung on the doorknob with care, In hopes that no Director would be seeing them there. The profiles were nestled all snug in the drawer, Though customers might call me to open my store. And I, without makeup and the neighbor in back, Had just settled down for some coffee & snack. When out in the office there arose such a clatter, Sprang out of my chair to see what was the matter! Over to the phone I flew like a flash, Picked up the receiver and tripped over the trash. The light of the lamp on my inventory below, Gave it the luster of diamonds and a kind of glow! When what to my longing ears should I hear, But my Director telling me, “This is YOUR year.” “To dream a GREAT dream! Be lively and quick, I know you can do it, lickety split…” “More rapid than ever you’ll go to the top,” She whistled and shouted, “I know you won’t stop!” Now cleanser, now Lip Gloss, now Day Radiance & Freshener On Blusher, on Lipstick, on Eye Cream & Conditioner! To the women of the world, for the skin of them all, Now call them, call them, call them all! As dry leaves before the wild hurricane wrinkle, So will my customers, if I don’t give them a jingle. So up to the phone my fingers they flew, With a handful of pink slipsand calculator too. And then in a twinkle, I heard on the phone, Mrs. Smith, my last hostess, with her daughter now home. As I listened with glee and was turning around, She placed a large order & her VISA card found. I was dressed all in glitter from my head to my foot, Imagining Seminar stage and all of my loot! A pink limousine would be waiting for me, On Queen’s Court of Sales I surely will be. My eyes will be twinkling, my dimples quite merry, My cheeks like roses with a blusher called Teaberry. My proud little mouth will drawup in a grin To know that I’ve worked & tonight I will win! The keys to the Grand AM I’ll clench in my teeth, And the diamonds from Queen’s Court, I’ll wear like a wreath. My Unit will be there, applauding like mad. Such excitement and praise, they’ll all wish they had. President Tom Whatley on stage, a right jolly elf, And I’ll laugh when I see him, in spite of myself. A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, Will reassure me to know, I have nothing to dread. So I spoke not a word to my neighbor from out back, And give up the coffee and the sugary Christmas snack. And laying a finger again in the dial, I called Mrs. Jones, and said with a smile, I almost forgot you, it’s Christmas, you know, We have beautiful gifts and wrapping to go.” And I heard her exclaim as I hung up the phone, “Thank God for my Consultant, she’s the best I have known!”

May All Your Dreams Come True, at Christmas and All Through the New Year May a gently falling snow nestle against the windows of your dreams on Christmas eve, and may your silent night be warmed by the thought that your family is such a wonderful gift, and one of the nicest things in this world is your presence in it. There are so many things to do each day There

A Cure For Stinkin' Thinkin' By Zig Ziglar

When you're leaving the house in the morning, it's much nicer to ask your spouse to pick up the dry cleaning first and save the "I love you" for last. Think about it. If you said, "I love you," then said, "Please pick up the dry cleaning," your spouse might feel manipulated. And suppose you died in a car crash right

after you left? Your spouse would always remember your last words were, "Please pick up the dry cleaning," instead of "I love you." Yes, last impressions are important. I use this example because it is simple and clear. However, it is devastating to those who have had the misfortune of not being able to

change their last words. This is true not just in regard to those you make the last impression on but also for you when someone else or something else (radio, TV, newspaper) makes the last impression on you.

If a person gave you that blah or down feeling, change the deposit by going to another person to get a quick fix. Call one of your friends or acquaintances who is an upbeat person and chat a couple of

minutes. . . . If the offender was a TV, radio, audio, or video program, don't just turn it off; change the deposit-switch channels, stations or recordings until you hear something positive. Remember, our minds dwell on that last deposit until the imagination builds it bigger and bigger, and it's much better to have a

big positive than a big negative. My favorite method of achieving a big positive is to watch a Gaither Family gospel video for a few minutes just before I go to sleep. The joy of the performers combined with the hope the songs espouse produces restful sleep and sweet dreams. Here is an effective method of

dealing with an incident-induced case of stinkin' thinkin': clearly understand that since you did survive and the initial pain and shock are over, it's got to get better from here on out. I think you'll agree that laughing

at your difficulties is more effective than crying about them. Not only that, but with a change of attitude you'll start looking for the solution to the problem or circumstances that put you in that stinkin' thinkin'

mood. All of this says that your blah attitude is something you can control, and it is your opportunity and responsibility to do exactly that.

is so much going on in the world of great concern that often we do not stop and think about what personally is really important and even if we don't have a lot of time to spend with each other I want you to always know how much I appreciate you and our friendship.

Wishing You a Happy Holiday Season and the Blessings a Wonderful New Year!
