I was born in Moscow on June 5, 1970.

• I have got the master degree from the Theoretical Nuclear Physics Department of MoscowEngineering Physics Institute in the October 1993 with specialization �Theoretical and Mathe-matical Physics�.

• October 1993 � August 1994 I worked as associate researcher at the Kurchatov Instituteof Atomic Energy, Moscow, Russia. Group leader: Prof. A. L. Barabanov.

• September 1994 � August 1995 I worked as guest scientist at Chalmers University ofTechnology, G�oteborg, Sweden. Head of Subatomic Physics group: Prof. B. Jonson.

• September 1995 � January 1998 I had a position as Ph. D. student at Chalmers Universityof Technology and G�oteborg University, G�oteborg, Sweden, supervised by Prof. M. V. Zhukovand Prof. B. Jonson.

• In October 1997 I defended Ph. D. thesis in theoretical physics entitled �Electromagneticand weak interactions in light exotic nuclei�.

Scienti�c interests. Theoretical nuclear physics. Nuclei far from stability line. Clusterizednuclear systems and states. Light exotic nuclei: structure, reactions, weak processes. Parity andisospin symmetry violation in light nuclei. Few-body problems, in particular three-body Coulombproblem in continuum. Nuclear systems beyond the dripline. Two-proton radioactivity and exoticdecays. Few-body theory methods in nuclear astrophysics.

Scienti�c interests. Experimental nuclear physics. Reactions with radioactive nuclearbeams. Direct reactions. Reaction mechanism studies. Scienti�c projects.

(i) Coordinator for scienti�c program of the ACCULINNA fragment separator (FLNR, JINR).Since 2007 � coordinator for prospective scienti�c program of ACCULINNA-2 fragment separator.Commissioning of ACCULINNA-2 was completed in the fall 2016. Scienti�c operation started inthe fall 2018 (http://aculina.jinr.ru/acc-2.php).

(ii) Coordinator for scienti�c program of the EXPERT experimental setup at SuperFRS fragmentseparator (SuperFRS collaboration at FAIR). EXPERT technical design report (TDR) has beenapproved by FAIR Expert Committee (http://aculina.jinr.ru/EXPERT.php).

(iii) Coordinator for scienti�c program of the DERICA (Dubna Electron � Radioactive Ion ColliderfAcility) project: development of the large-scale international facility for radioactive ion beamstudies at JINR (http://derica.jinr.ru/).

Publications. Coauthor of 107 publications in refereed journals; the �rst author in 40 publi-cations. Among them: 1 publication in Nature, 14 in Physical Review Letters, 7 in Physics LettersB, 7 in Physical Review C (Rapid Communications). Awards, etc. JINR price (2005, 2009, 2013, 2016), Kurchatov price (2009, 2014), GSI ExoticNuclei Community Membership Award (GENCO) (2012). Coauthor of the two-proton radioactivitydiscovery (GSI, Germany, 2002).

Major scienti�c accomplishments:

(i) Development of consistent quantum-mechanical theory of two-proton radioactivity. Practicalsolution of the three-body Coulomb continuum problem is obtained for this class of decays. Precisioncalculations of momentum correlations for the two-proton decays are so far performed only by ourgroup.

(ii) Clari�cation of the role of �true� two-proton decays and �soft� dipole excitations in the processof �rapid� nucleosynthesys at the proton dripline (rp-process).

(iii) Development of data analysis methods for for (few-body) decays of aligned states populatedin direct reactions. So far the expertise in this type of studies is available only at FLNR, JINR.

(iv) Development of data analysis methods for experiments with fragment tracking (the techniquedeveloped at GSI, Germany). This type of experiments allows lifetime determination for p/2pemitters in the range from picoseconds to tens of nanoseconds not accessible for the other types ofexperiments.

(v) Prediction of possibility of very long-living states decaying via simultaneous emission of two orfour neutrons. In certain limit this corresponds to possibility of novel types of radioactive decays:two-neutron and four-neutron radioactivities.

(vi) Studies of �transition dynamics� between di�erent mechanisms of three-body decay. Proposednew method of width determination for two-body decays by studies of three-body correlations inthe transition region.

(vii) Prediction of �Pauli focusing� e�ects for correlations in the �true� four-neutron decay. Newmethod to obtain information about shell population in the nuclear interior from the decay correlationdata.

Pedagogical activity. Superviser for Ph.D. and master students students at FLNR JINR.2012�2015 introductory lecture course on NUSTAR physics for FAIR-Russia Research Centerstipend holders. Since 2013 � theoretical nuclear physics course at National Research NuclearUniversity �MEPhI�.

Personal information. I am married and have three children: Stepan (August, 1995), Inga(January, 1997), and Mark (July, 2004). Quali�cation of mountaineering guide. Sport climbingcoach at Mountaineering Club of Moscow State University.
