In this session, NLC Member Joanna Swanson will share the story of her father’s faith, Dr. Edgar Carlson, President of Gustavus Adolphus College from 1944-1968. You will hear about her recently published biography of her father’s life, “Bold Visions/Daring Dreams.” She will share portions of the story, including pictures and excerpts.

Labyrinths are used for calming and releasing distractions, for ritual, celebration, for gaining spiritual insight on questions, prayer, life decisions, and transitions. Please feel free to walk slowly and quietly through the turns, or to sit on the side in contemplative prayer, scripture reading, and quiet.
