SUBSEA PIPELINES – RIGID, FLEXIBLES AND SURF INSTALLATION

Leighton Offshore capabilities include the undertaking of EPCIC works for both large and small diameter subsea pipelines. Our expertise includes nearshore, shallow water, infield pipelines, SURF installation, shore crossings, shore-pull installation and tie-in spools.

We offer rigid pipe-lay installation capability using traditional S-lay, surface and bottom-tow methods. We are able to offer complete installation services which include pre and post trenching, marine-related works at shoreline and onshore works.

SINGLE POINT MOORING (SPM) INSTALLATIONS

Leighton Offshore is a leader in the field of SPM systems installation. We have installed over 18 SPM systems in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Our experience includes anchored and piled SPM installation using drilled, grouted and driven piles and undertaking on an EPCIC basis the other elements of an SPM system which include the PLEM, chains, subsea and floating hoses.

We can offer full commissioning and O&M services for the SPM facilities.

MARINE LOADING AND TERMINAL FACILITIES

Leighton Offshore has extensive experience in the construction of marine facilities that supports the Oil and Gas industry. These include jetties and berths for the receipt and export of products. We have the capability to undertake construction of marine structures, topsides mechanical works, navigation systems, loading equipment, onshore storage terminals and tank farms.

OFFSHORE AND SUBSEA STRUCTURES

Leighton Offshore, supported by strong engineering resources, is able to undertake on an EPCIC basis, the whole suite of topsides modules and jacket design and installation. We have extensive experience in undertaking offshore piling, offshore and subsea structures, HUC, topsides modification shut down works and prefabricated skids.

We have strategic partnership with leading fabricators in the Middle East and South East Asia to undertake the provision of world-standard construction and fabrication of offshore platforms, topsides and structures.

PIPELINE ENGINEERING

Our expertise includes the design of infield and export pipelines, thermo-hydraulicanalysis, route selection, pipeline mechanical design and optimisation, spanning prevention and buckle mitigation. We provide detailed installation analysis for both shallow and deepwater pipelines, including trenching and ploughability analysis.

OFFSHORE TERMINAL LOADING AND OFF-LOADING SYSTEMS

Leighton has extensive experience and expertise in engineering, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of SPM systems. Leighton Engineering advise Clients on the optimum solutions for the design, selection of size and siting for offshore marine tanker loading and offloading SPM and marine terminal systems. Our capability includes engineering and design for floating terminal facilities covering mooring systems, PLEM’s and SPM subsea facilities and associated technical specifications.

BARGE JACKET LAUNCH AND TOPSIDE FLOATOVER ANALYSIS

Our in-house capability for detailed instillation engineering for the launch and installation of platform jackets as well as platform topsides by barge float over method, give us a very good opportunity to offer the best technical and cost efficient solutions to our Client. Our highly experienced and capable engineering team are using the latest industry software such as MOSES, SACS and Orcaflex to model the floating body and structural objects as well as all connecting parts in a hydrodynamic offshore environment to achieve the best overall solution to meet Client requirements.

FIXED OFFSHORE PLATFORMS

We offer a range of specialist expertise in engineering services to meet the challenges of engineering, designing and installation of fixed offshore platforms from concept, FEED through Detailed Design and into EPCIC consisting of both process and minimum facilities topsides and jackets. Undertaking process equipment design, skid design, deck and module design, assessment and installation.

We specialise in constructable and cost effective solutions, for installation, commissioning and decommissioning of offshore structures.

VESSEL AND BARGE MODELLING FOR SEAFASTENING, MODIFICATIONS, MOORING AND TRANSPORTATION

With a strong team of Naval Architects and Marine Structural Engineers with extensive experience in vessel and barge modeling, structural assessments and transportation analysis, we are able to offer our Clients the best optimised solutions to suit their needs. This includes design and engineering solutions for barge and vessel operations to meet potential extreme environmental criteria covering Cyclones, Earthquakes and Tsunamis.

Recent successful project solutions and designs include the Gorgon LNG project in Australia and the ICOEE Project in Iraq.

OFFSHORE LIFT STUDIES AND DESIGN

We have significant experience in offshore lifting and can perform dynamic studies and analysis to determine optimum solutions for the safe lifting of offshore structures from barges or vessels. The lift barge or vessel can be fully modelled and assessed for the lifting in the specific environmental conditions at the project site with the rigging and lift sequence design and supporting analysis reports provides as per Client requirements.

PIPELINE TOWS

Leighton Engineering offers a complete range of services required to successfully plan, manage and engineer offshore pipeline installations using tow methodology. This includes Bottom, Off-bottom, Mid-depth and Surface tow methodologies.

We have extensive experience in pipeline shore pulling and have proven the economic and technical merit of pipeline shore pulling methodology by successfully completing landmark projects across Africa, Asia, India and Middle East.

MARINE JETTIES AND TERMINALS

Leighton Engineering has expertise and experience in the design of marine jetties and terminals covering both piled and gravity based foundation principles. The core of our capability is based on a well-developed integrated hydrodynamic and structural modeling and analysis approach and an optimum design approach to the Client for such specialised and often complex marine structures and terminals. UTILITY SYSTEMS

We also design gas lift systems including dehydration, compression and injection and water injectionsystems such as desalting, deoxygenating oil separation and injection.

ONSHORE PIPELINES

Leighton has extensive experience in onshore pipeline design and installation including oil and gas, water and sewerage pipeline systems.

We cover both greenfield and brownfield projects, optimising pipeline facilities and their control systems through route selection, right of way, river and road crossings investigations. We assist clients in selecting and procuring the most suitable pipeline materials and coating systems and provide structural design of pipelines and associated facilities including scraper traps, valve and metering stations and SCADA packages.
