LEICESTER CITY COUNCIL

DIRECTION MADE UNDER ARTICLE 4(1) TO WHICH SCHEDULE 3, PART 2
APPLIES
LEICESTER CITY COUNCIL (LOCAL HERITAGE ASSETS ARTICLE 4(1)
DIRECTION 2016
WHEREAS Leicester City Council ("the Council") being the appropriate local planning
authority within the meaning of article 4(5) of The Town and Country Planning
(General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order"),
are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the descriptions) set out in the
Schedule below should not be carried out on the land shown edged red on the
attached plan, unless planning permission is granted on an application made under
Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the power conferred on them by
Article 4(1) of the said Order, hereby direct that the permission granted by Article 3 of
the said Order shall not apply to development on the said land of the descriptions)
set out in the Schedule below.
THIS DIRECTION is made under Article 4(1) of the said Order and, in accordance
with paragraph (6) of schedule 3, part 2, shall remain in force until 9th May 2017
(being six months from the date of this direction).
THIS DIRECTION shall cease to have effect on 9th May 2017 unless it is confirmed
by the Council before this date in accordance with paragraph (2) of schedule 3, part
2.
SCHEDULE
Development to which the Direction shall apply (specified by reference to the
Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 (as
amended):
Any building operation consisting of the demolition of a building
Being development comprised within Class B of Part 11 of Schedule 2 to the Order
and not being development comprised within any other class.
The painting of the exterior of any building or work

and not being development comprised within any other class.
This Article 4(1) Direction shall apply to all properties included within the

DIRECTION 2016
WHEREAS Leicester City Council ("the Council") being the appropriate local planning
authority within the meaning of article 4(5) of The Town and Country Planning
(General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order"),
are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the descriptions) set out in the
Schedule below should not be carried out on the land shown edged red on the
attached plan, unless planning permission is granted on an application made under
Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the power conferred on them by
Article 4(1) of the said Order, hereby direct that the permission granted by Article 3 of
the said Order shall not apply to development on the said land of the descriptions)
set out in the Schedule below.
THIS DIRECTION is made under Article 4(1) of the said Order and, in accordance
with paragraph (6) of schedule 3, part 2, shall remain in force until 9th May 2017
(being six months from the date of this direction).
THIS DIRECTION shall cease to have effect on 9th May 2017 unless it is confirmed
by the Council before this date in accordance with paragraph (2) of schedule 3, part
2.

WHEREAS Leicester City Council ("the Council") being the appropriate local planningauthority within the meaning of article 4(5) of The Town and Country Planning(General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order"),are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the descriptions) set out in theSchedule below should not be carried out on the land shown edged red on theattached plan, unless planning permission is granted on an application made underPart III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the power conferred on them byArticle 4(1) of the said Order, hereby direct that the permission granted by Article 3 ofthe said Order shall not apply to development on the said land of the descriptions)set out in the Schedule below.
THIS DIRECTION is made under Article 4(1} of the said Order and, in accordancewith paragraph (6) of schedule 3, part 2, shall remain in force until 9th May 2017(being six months from the date of this direction).
THIS DIRECTION shall cease to have effect on 9th May 2017 unless it is confirmedby the Council before this date in accordance with paragraph (2) of schedule 3, part2.

WHEREAS Leicester City Council ("the Council") being the appropriate local planning
authority within the meaning of article 4(5) of The Town and Country Planning
(General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order"),
are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the descriptions) set out in the
Schedule below should not be carried out on the land shown edged red on the
attached plan, unless planning permission is granted on an application made under
Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the power conferred on them by
Article 4(1) of the said Order, hereby direct that the permission granted by Article 3 of
the said Order shall not apply to development on the said land of the descriptions)
set out in the Schedule below.
THIS DIRECTION is made under Article 4(1) of the said Order and, in accordance
with paragraph (6) of schedule 3, part 2, shall remain in force until 9th May 2017
(being six months from the date of this direction).
THIS DIRECTION shall cease to have effect on 9th May 2017 unless it is confirmed
by the Council before this date in accordance with paragraph (2) of schedule 3, part
2.

WHEREAS Leicester City Council ("the Council") being the appropriate local planningauthority within the meaning of article 4(5) of The Town and Country Planning(General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (as amended) ("the Order"),are satisfied that it is expedient that development of the descriptions) set out in theSchedule below should not be carried out on the land shown edged red on theattached plan, unless planning permission is granted on an application made underPart I II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).
NOW THEREFORE the said Council in pursuance of the power conferred on them byArticle 4(1) of the said Order, hereby direct that the permission granted by Article 3 ofthe said Order shall not apply to development on the said land of the descriptions)set aut in the Schedule below.
THIS DIRECTION is made under Article 4(1) of the said Order and, in accordancewith paragraph (6) of schedule 3, part 2, shall remain in force until 9th May 2017(being six months from the date of this direction).
THIS DIRECTION shall cease to have effect on 9th May 2017 unless it is confirmedby the Council before this date in accordance with paragraph (2) of schedule 3, part2.

Any building operation consisting of the demolition of a building
Being development comprised within Class B of Part 11 of Schedule 2 to the Orderand not being development comprised within any other class.
The painting of the exterior of any building or work
Being development comprised within Class C of Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Orderand not being development comprised within any other class.
This Article 4(1) Direction shall apply to all properties included within theboundary as shown on the attached map and known as:
