BUILD THE BEACH BREAKDOWN VEHICLE!

Try building LEGO models in different sizes. You can build a really small model with just a couple of bricks, or build a huge model with lots of bricks. Creating very small models is called building in micro scale. A model big enough for a minifigure to fit inside is called minifigure scale.

FAMILY FUN: The underground water system that carries clean water to our homes is also a form of construction. Talk with your child about how pipes are interconnected. Using LEGO bricks you can illustrate how one pipe has to fit perfectly with another to prevent leaks.

If you are building a model based on something real (like the flower on this page), try to find pictures of it you can look at before you get started.
