Address

The Chief Secretary for Administration addressed the Council on the Government Minute in response to the 24th Annual Report of The Ombudsman 2012. Questions

Six oral questions as set out on the Agenda (i.e. Questions 1 to 6) were put by Members and oral replies were given by the public officers. Written replies to Questions 7 to 20 as set out on the Agenda were tabled. Motion

Proposed resolution under section 34(2) of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance The Secretary for Justice moved the motion as set out on the Agenda. The President’s Deputy proposed the question on the motion. After a Member had spoken, question on the motion was put and agreed to.

Members’ Motions Proposed resolution under the Legislative Council (Powers and Privileges) Ordinance Hon Albert CHAN moved the motion as set out on the Agenda. The President’s Deputy proposed the question on the motion. After Members and the public officer had respectively spoken, question on the motion was put. Motion on “Executive Council as gate-keeper for MTR fares” (During the debate on this motion, the meeting was suspended at 9:57 pm on 5 December 2012 and resumed at 9:00 am on 6 December 2012.)
