Rock and roll leg-end Eddie Money andLouisiana native, coun-try/pop superstar, JoeStampley will headlinethe NatchitocheJazz/RB Festival thisFriday and Saturday,April 12-13, on thed o w n t o w nN a t c h i t o c h e sRiverbank.
Money soonbecame a rising starafter signing a record-ing deal with ColumbiaRecords in the late1970's. Fans immediate-ly fell in love with hissound and his firstalbum, which featuredhits like “Baby HoldOn” and “Two Ticketsto Paradise".
Money's firstalbum went doubleplatinum and brought
him more success witha stream of Top 40 hits.In 1986, he releasedCan’t Hold Back, whichfeatured the classic,Grammy nominatedduet with RonnieSpector, “Take MeHome Tonight.” Thesong reached number 4on the Billboard Hot100.
Along with havingsold more than 28 mil-lion records, Money’ssongs have appeared indozens of movies andtelevision shows, andhave recently beenincluded in hit videogames like “GrandTheft Auto” and“Guitar Hero.”

to his credit. He hasproduced such hits as"Soul Song", "Too FarGone", and the numberone hit "All TheseThings".
In 1976, he hadeight singles chartedon the Billboard coun-try charts and wasawarded "Billboard'sSingle Artist of theYear.” He has also beeninducted into TheLouisiana Music HallOf Fame in three care-gories. One as a soloartist, another as asong writer and thethird as a member ofthe popular 60s and 70sgroup, The Unique. Hehas also been inductedinto the LouisianaCountry Music Hall OfFame, as well as theTexas Country MusicAssociation Hall ofFame.
Another entertain-ing group, L.A. Roxx,will bring its uniquesound to Natchitoches.L.A. Roxx (formerlyknown as Butt Roxx)has been hailed the"World's Greatest GlamRock Tribute Band" bymusic critics and fanseverywhere.
Its show guaran-tees the time of yourlife, performing suchhits as "Living On a
Prayer," "Sweet ChildO' Mine," "Here I GoAgain" and "Pour SomeSugar on Me.”
Regional acts willinclude JohnnyEarthquake and theMoondogs, HardrickRivers and RiversRevue, Lukejazz, BillyO'Con and the Convictsand many others.
“With twentybands performing onthree stages, we believeour Festival offerssomething for every-one,” reported boardmember Julie Brewton."We will feature rockand roll, rhythm andblues, country, blue-grass, zydeco, blues,jazz, and everything inbetween."
Brewton said there
will also be a variety offood vendors and lots ofactivities for the kids.

Josh Hyde was bornMarch 4th, 1969 in BatonRouge.
Spending most of hisyouth in Baton Rougeand New Orleans. Theechos of blues, jazz andzydeco were part of thelandscape. Some of thelocal influences wereTabby Thomas, LarryGarner, and Silas Hogan.A singer/songwriter andguitarist, he producedhis first CD in 1998 withthe help of Jamey Bellentitled “All You Need IsSoul”.
Working in collabora-tion with SonnyLandreth (sonnylan-dreth.com) on the titletrack this CD is a mix-
ture of blues, soul, androots.
Since then he hasreleased two more inde-pendent cds-The Edge ofLove and Dark Side.Thesecond project, The Edgeof Love, was released in2000. Working with gram-my nominated pianoplayer and song writerSteve Conn (www.steve-conn.com) this cd blendsmany different influ-ences from jazz to NewOrleans rythyms to sul-try ballads.
