Key information:

Length of Programme Six years (part-time)

Mode of Study Online classroom sessions supported by face-to-face learning

Assessment To complete the apprenticeship, you must pass the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) centralised assessment, consisting of two parts:• Part 1 – Functioning Knowledge Tests

• Part 2 – Standardised Practical Legal Examination

• You will also need to complete a portfolio of examples of work experience

To be awarded the LLB (Hons) Legal Practice, you must pass a range of BPP University assessments which include unseen examinations such as multiple choice tests, written problem based questions and practical legal drafting exercises, legal research, presentation and skeleton argument, coursework, advocacy and an e-portfolio of work.

Entry Requirements Educational Background• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including a grade C or above in

English Language and Mathematics; and

• 128 UCAS points at GCE A-Level (ABB) (or other UK or international equivalent); or

• Between 96 and 127 UCAS points at GCE A-Level (or other UK or international equivalent) PLUS successful completion of the BPP University LLB (Hons) Admissions Test; or

• Completion of BPP’s Certificate of Higher Education (Legal Services); or

• CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma passed with Distinction; or

• CILEx Level 3 Professional Diploma PLUS successful completion of the BPP University LLB (Hons) Admissions Test; or

• Successful completion of a relevant Advanced (Level-3) or Higher (Level 4 and above) apprenticeship PLUS successful completion of the BPP University LLB (Hons) Admissions Test.

English LanguageIELTS score of 6.5 (overall) or equivalent, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.

If you obtain a score of 6.5 overall, you will have to attend In-sessional English/Academic English classes, alongside the programme during the first term of studies, at no additional cost.

These standards have been developed to ensure that you gain a highly relevant education that meets the requirements and practical business needs of employers.
