Assignment Title: 1088880 - Legal Advisor for the implementation
of a transaction of the development of a green-fieldwastewater
treatment plant under a PPP (BOT) model, in Costa Rica
Assignment Countries:- Costa Rica
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has been approached
by a municipality of Costa Rica to act as its LeadTransaction
Advisor for the implementation of a transaction of the development
of a green-field wastewater treatment plantunder a PPP (BOT)
model.
In relation to this assignment, IFC intends to procure a Legal
consulting firm to assist the IFC project team in structuring
andimplementing the PPP transaction.
The indicative scope of work required is as follows:
- Legal due diligence of the Transaction.- Assistance in
preparation of an optimal structure for implementing the
Transaction.- Preparation of prequalification documents and
assistance in implementation of prequalification process.-
Preparation of the tender documents, including the request for
proposals and draft contract documents.- Assistance with conducting
the negotiations process with prequalified investors, including
participation on conferences and
