what you want to say e.g. autism alert c ards
At our Hub sessionsWe have two weekly hub sessions - a drop-in on Tuesday afternoons and a quiet one for booked appointments only on Friday afternoons.
If you want more info g iven on a one-to-one basis, we c an meet with you at either Hub session.
Areas we c an give information on inc lude diagnosis, benefits, ac c essing servic es and employment.
We have someone in from the Chapeltown Citizens Advic e Bureau to g ive info at every session.
Personalised resourc es
One of the things we do is c reate personalised resourc es. They c an help you say what you want to say and expla in how being autistic affec ts you. These resourc es inc lude
- Autism alert c ards - business-c ard sized c ards whic h expla in how being autistic affec ts you
- GP profiles - passport-sized c ards you c an show to a GP or other medic al professional, whic h expla in how you would like to be treated under their c are
- One-page employment profiles
By phone and emailAs well as g iving information and signposting support at our Hub sessions, we are a lso able to do the same by email or over the phone.
We have a staff team who c an try to g ive you the best possib le information on a topic you would like to know about. You c an either c all or email us or, if you like, we c an c all or email you - whic hever option is preferable.

On our website
We have a website whic h has an information sec tion. On there, you will find pages with info on a range of areas, inc luding diagnosis, health, money, employment, educ ation and post-d iagnostic support.
On there, you c an also find out about what's going on by reading our quarterly newsletters or keeping up to date with our news sec tion. It has b log posts published regularly about autism-spec ific events in Leeds.
