THE RATIONAL MIND

Intelligence is the capacity to pick up new ideas and acton these with good judgment. This is seen in solving newproblems, acting properly in different situations, relatingone·s past experience.

In the sum total of those personal traits which conveyour individuality to others, traits of mind are likely to viewith physical features for attention. Thus, a man of great intelligence, with an ability to grasp

and convey the full breadth of project or problem, or toarrive at an original and effective solution to a problem isbound to impress others with the quality of his mind. Thus, it is unfortunate if the undesirable intellectual traitswhich we exhibit to others are ones which harm our

image more than they help it.
