Handbook about the RecSysTEL research field Next to the workshop series on Recommender Systems for TEL (RecSysTEL), a handbook has been published by Springer that attempts to provide a comprehensive overview of research in this area (http://bit.ly/recsystel_book ). The book aims to briefly introduce recommender systems and to discuss a wide and representative sample of issues that people working on recommender systems for learning. It serves as an overview of work in this domain and therefore especially addresses people that start studying or researching relevant topics and want to position their work in the overall landscape. All the bibliography covered by this book is available in an open group created at the Mendeley research platform and will continue to be enriched with additional references.
