NOTIFICATION

In exercise of powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of

the Constitution of India, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh s pleased o

make the following rules further to amend Central Civil Services ( Leave

Travel Concession) Rules, 1972 in their application to the State of

Himachal Pradesh, namely:-

These rules ,may be called theCentral Civil Services(Leave Travel Concession)Atnendment Rules, 2010.

Short itle and commencement 1. (1)

( 2)They I shall come into force

from' the date of theirpublication in RAJP A T&~Himachal Pradesh.

Insertion of New Rule 15(A)~ After rule 15 of the CCS (Leave TravelConcession) Rules, 1972, the followingnew rule 15 (A) shall be inserted,namely :-

Rule 15 (A) All employees shall be permitted toencash 10 days earned leave at the timeof availing of Leave Travel Concession,subject o the conditions that :-

(a) the total leave so encashed during theentire career does not exceed 60 days inthe aggregate;

(b) earned leave of atleast an equivalent.duration is also availed ofsimultaneously by the employees;

(c) a balance of atleast 30 days of earnedleave is still available to the credit ofemployees after taking into account theperiod of encashment as well as leave'and

(d) the period of leave encashed shall bededucted from the quantum of leavethat can be normally encashed by him!her at the time of superannuation.
