Objective:

To given an opinion of the Indian companies are adding Western Flavor article

from the book, and also to understand the module 1 on blackboard.

Procedure:

1. - First, I read the entire module 1 on blackboard.

2. - Then I read the instructions to make this report.

3. - After that I read the article in the book.

4. - Finally I made the report successfully.

Results:

1.-What is your reaction to the article? Why?

I think its a good idea for the companies from the eastern or vice versa to start

interacting each other, you never know when you are going to work in thefuture, so I think its a good idea for the big companies to get your employees

trained for business skills to face another companies or to compete and to get

the best part of it. Also a lot of companies are moving a part of their services to

India because of their cheap outsourcing.

2.-Do you think Sierra Atlantics training policy for its Indian employees is

a good example of how to motivate and train staff? Why?

Yes I think its a great start, because the company will make its Indian

employees to work and to interact better in the work-environment, and also the

training will make the employees to get new business skills and a great cultural

environment.

3.-How would you feel if you had to change your style of dress or behavior

to suit the business of a foreign employer? why?

I think its a very personal point of view, at least for me I think that I would

accept to change my lifestyle or style of dress because of a work, I think that it

could be interesting to know a little bit of another cultures, and I think that a lot

of companies here in Monterrey, Mexico, are starting to implement that kind of

ideals, for example, if you work for an American company in here, you dont go

to work on 4th of July, even thought you are working in Mexico, I think that is a

good example.

On my point of view, I would accept to change a little bit of my lifestyle.

Obviously if its worth it.

Conclusion:

I think that this was an interesting report because it touches topics that for manypersons could be offensive because its a cultural point of view I think, and alsoI couldnt imagine how the people that are more extremists than us would thinkabout that kind of situations.
