• Which ancient civilisation developed the concept?

• How could they be used in art?

• In which century did the become popular in art? In which country? Prediction.

Create a vocabulary page in your book which can be used to categorise words.

• You will need columns/rows for:

• 1. Nouns • categories, masculine and feminine(and neuter), plural• 2. Adjectives • categories

• How would the table look?

• Or tables?

• Use a dictionary to complete the table for each picture.

• What would be a realistic number of words to look up so you can give a description of each picture?
