Youll learn in a group for approx. four weeks, either in a morning or

afternoon course, depending on the course level. There are 12 possible

starting dates spread over the entire year.

This will enable you to develop your language skills and combine any

number of courses to create a systematic language-learning program.

At the start of your course we will ask you about your individual

learning goals and follow up with ongoing support during the learning

process. This results in tight integration of the classroom lessons, self-study activities and practice.

At all levels you also have the option of taking one of our examina-

tions, which are recognized around the world.

Are you planning to attend college or university in Germany? First

you will have to provide proof of German language skills. The TestDaf

examination is recognized by all colleges and universities in Germany.

In our training course you will receive instruction from specialized

teachers as well as individual advice and support. Youll become

familiar with the TestDaF exam, practice the various question types in

all sections of the exam and improve your language skills. Our well-

equipped media resource center offers a wide selection of additional

practice materials for individual study.

Our German in the evening courses offer you efcient language

advice. In communicative lessons geared to the target group, you will

get practice in all of the skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

situations.

Our small-group SuperIntensive 2 program offers all-day language

training at a high level of learning intensity and efciency. The Super-

GERMAN COMMUNICATION TRAINING FOR DOCTORS

Our communication training is designed for doctors and medical

professionals. This course is suitable for you if you have been working

for some time in Germany or are about to begin a residency to train

as a specialist at a German hospital. With our German course you will

enhance your communication and language skills while developing

your intercultural competency for working in the medical eld.

You will learn new medical and pharmaceutical vocabulary terms,

German colloquial expressions for diseases and organs, various forms

of clinical documentation, and the correct style for writing physicians

reports. We practice patient conversations with you, for example, in

taking down medical histories and examination situations.

Additional topics are the German healthcare system, hospital organiza-tions, introducing patients, diagnostic equipment, case presentations,

preparation and presentation of expert lectures, and preparing a job

application.
