Senior Citizen Tuition WaiverDistrict 517 residents age 65 or over who file the Senior Citizens Trustee TuitionWaiver form in the Accounting Office, sent at the time of registration, will be able to enroll in a credit course (CNC is theCommunity Learning credit course), one form each semester. Students are notcharged for the amount of tuition credit oneach class but will have to pay fees associatedwith it. Examples: ed2go online classes costs$99. Basic Digital Photography costs $38.25.Martial Arts costs $28.

CancellationPlease note that classes may be canceled due to insufficient enrollment. If the class is canceled, you will be notified and will receive a full refund. Refunds are issued twotimes a month.

DropNon-standard courses, because of the uniquecircumstances associated with scheduling, securing resources, and the ability to backfillvacated seats, require five (5) college businessdays’ notice in advance of the first class meeting to receive a 100% refund. Refundsare issued two times a month.

Refund example: Count first day of class, exampleSept. 22, as day one. Count back 5 days. ExcludeSaturdays and Sundays (and Fridays in the summer.)You would have to drop by Sept. 16 to get a refund.
