Summer school programs offer a wide variety of learning opportunities for school age students from Grade1 to Grade 12:

• If you want to complete an academic course, you can take an Academic Full Credit course.

• If you wish to learn skills and increase knowledge, you can take an Enrichment non-credit course.

These professionally delivered camps will engage students in a variety of dynamic and interactive learning activities beyond the scope typical of most schools. Add one or two camps to extend your time in school.

YOU NEED TO KNOW:Before You Register

ATTENDANCE• Absences in excess of three days are NOT accept-

able. Do not register if extended absences for any reason are anticipated: work, vacations, sports, family commitments, etc.

HOW MANY SUMMER CAMPS CAN A STUDENT TAKE?• Students may register for one, two or three summer camps.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS• Bring your valid BC Study Permit to the first day of

class in July.

NON-RICHMOND PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS• Bring the following photocopies of these THREE

documents to the first day of class in July.• (i) your parent’s birth certificate, permanent

resident card, passport, or valid BC Work Permit, • (ii) your parent’s BC Driver’s Licence, or

BC CareCard

PICK UP & DROP OFF OF STUDENTS• Drop off/pickup must be done within 5 minutes

of start/end of class times

REFUNDS• There is a 10% processing charge for withdrawals

before the second session.• There are no refunds after the second session.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Summer Explorations will actively engage students in a variety of integrated, inquiry-based and hands-on projects using technology and outdoor field experiences. Students will preview all subject areas of the new curriculum (Language Arts, Math, Science, Socials). Register early as space is limited.
