Detroit Metro Detroit has recently undergone several enhancements to make it one of the most attractive places to visit. Several of the latest features include Ford Field (Detroit Lions new home), Comerica Park (Detroit Tigers new stadium), three new casinos (MGM Grand, MotorCity and Greektown), a remodeled Renaissance Center (General Motors new world headquarters) and a renewed Detroit Science Center. Some of the legendary favorites include The Detroit Institute of Arts, The Henry Ford Museum, Eastern Market, Hart Plaza festivals and numerous other hotels, attractions and restaurants. Downtown Detroit is cosmopolitan and industrious. Up-and-coming restaurants, a do-it-yourself attitude, new hotels, scenic and social parks, public transit, bike lanes and a walkable international riverfront are redefining downtown Detroit. Architecture from Albert Kahn and Isamu Noguchi lives next to all-night joints selling loaded Coney dogs and Prohibition-born speakeasies pouring locally crafted beer and cocktails. The city’s Greektown, Eastern Market, The District Detroit, Corktown and Midtown neighborhoods are booming with activity.
