Objectives

•To gather evaluation material on young people’s perceptions of crime in their areas

•To create Schools and Colleges as accredited Crime Reduction centres in the community •To encourage Young People’s input into local CDRP Strategy

•To raise awareness of crime and to create safer communities

•To build community capacity


Project Outputs

•Schools and Colleges implementing Crime Reduction strategies•Young People producing targeted crime audits for their community•Students devising Crime Reduction projects for their area•Promoting co-operative working between Schools, Colleges, voluntary sector and statutory organisations•ARC centres being set up across the East Midlands
