    How to define Attitude?Attitude with a capital A:- implies approaching asituation or viewing a set of proceedings through acertain perspective. A perspective that could becompared to a prism which refracts light in a certainmanner, depending on the way it falls on it

    withdrawing of our senses to introspect.

    ACCEPTANCE :-We tend to become judgmental and critical of ourselves or of

    others. This has the danger of sending us into a vicious cycleof negativity UNLESS we learn to accept what we see andunderstand .

    Have an attitude that it is ok to think how we are. Just be a witness to this fact and believe that God likes us for what we are .

    A positive attitude leads to happiness and success and canchange your whole life. If you look at the bright side of life,your whole life becomes filled with light. This light affectsnot only you and the way you look at the world, but alsoyour whole environment and the people around you. If it isstrong enough, it becomes contagious.

    1) B ecome an Ambassador of good works to every person you meet.Smile at people, say hello, help an old lady carry a bag to the car, assist

    someone in finding something in the store. Be cheerful to everyone you meet .

    2 ) N o matter what happens, look for the good and you'll find it.It is always possible to look for something good; to expect the best for

    yourself even though things look bad. The surprising fact is, when you look for

    good, you will find it.

    3) F ill your mind with what is positive .Give thanks for everything, even if you are being treated unfairly or if you

    are misunderstood. Give thanks for the lesson you are being given as you willgrow from this experience .

    4) N ever surrender to negative feelings.When you feel the negative feelings coming, this is one way to

    handle it. Admit you are starting to feel negative, face it but don't giveinto it. The way to destroy negative feelings is to verbalize a positivestatement. Use an affirmation that will release positive emotion.

    5) Practice the principle of replacement.When you have a negative feeling such as anger, replace it with

    love, fear with faith, sorrow with joy, etc.

    6) Stop the suggestive, bad, immoral or vulgar from your mind .You can feed your mind and soul garbage, smut, filth or you can

    stay healthy and sound of mind by feeding your mind healthy and good

    images and thou ghts.

    7 ) See good in others.We all know people who have created a negative atmosphere wherever they go.

    Why? Because they like to talk about everything, complain because they want to beheard and it effects everyone surrounding them. I was at work the other day and it wasfairly busy, we had about 10 people in line to pay. This one woman was very vocal andextremely rude, saying profanities about how she had to wait, etc. I simply looked ather and said, I hear what you are saying and I am sorry you have to wait now pleaserelax and we will help you as soon as we can. She was a bit shocked that someone

    actually confronted her and she apologized and was quiet and polite the rest of the 2minutes she had to wait. I turned her negative that had started to affect the entire line,into a positive and she calmed down. She just wanted to be heard.8) B e determined to take an attitude of love towards others.

    There is nothing uglier than a bad attitude, but a good attitude will win you

    friends and influence people. The story above is an example of just that. I had nicecomments from several others in line about how I handled the situation and it made mefeel good to know that my positive way of handling things effected others.

    9 ) Ex press appreciation to others.99% of the time when bad thoughts are holding good thoughts out

    of ou r mind, it is because they are selfish thoughts. Get rid of the badthoughts by not thinking of yourself. One of the most healing therapiesin the world is to give oneself in friendship and service to another.10) Pr actice positive p r aye r.

    Nothing clears the mind like prayer, even if you are not thatreligious, you can still clear your mind with prayer, pray to whom everyou want but just pray. Close your eyes and just start to talk and release

    the negative feelings, turn it over to the universe and let it go. You willfeel lighter and be able to think more clearly.11) You can count on it .

    Whatever spiritual entity you believe in, be it God or Goddess orthe Universe, your spiritual side will not fail you. Have faith that you will

    be strong against the negative and you will be.
