New CARB AST EVR Compliance Regulations
AST EVR regulations
Establish limitations for hazardous air pollutants emitted from Aboveground Storage tanks used at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities (GDF).
Cover standing loss control, Phase I deliveries into ASTs and Phase II deliveries into motor vehicles.
Certification Procedure CP-206
Procedure for evaluating and certifying Above Ground Storage Tanks, Standing Loss Control, Phase I and Phase II vapor recovery systems and components used at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities (GDF)
Test Procedure TP-206
Procedure to determine compliance with AST EVR system performance standards
4™
Stop AST Emissions! Help Protect the Air We Breathe and the Water We Drink
A significant amount of hazardous air pollutants may be emitted during the loading of aboveground gasoline
storage tanks
NOW, control technology existsthat can limit harmful emissions from ASTs
5™
Introducing the OPW CARB-Certified AST EVR Solution
The Only CARB-Certified AST Phase I EVR System in the Industry The standards required by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) are among the most stringent in the world. Phase I vapor recovery systems are mandated to meet or exceed a minimum 98% efficiency rating. The certification required OPW to pass a strenuous 24/7 test protocol over a 14-month evaluation period.

301 Emergency Vent Valve
Weighted, mushroom-style emergency vent
When AST pressure builds, weighted cast iron lid is forced up off seat to relieve pressure. When pressure is relieved, the lid lowers and is automatically reset.
Unique seal design and stainless steel plate facilitates zero emissions
Available in 3”, 4", 6" and 8" openings with female NPT, male NPT or flanged connections (8” and 10”) to allow for easy installation in new or existing above ground tanks
8™
61fSTOP Overfill Prevention Valve with 1611/1612 Kamvalok Poppeted Adaptor
The OPW 61ƒSTOP is designed to prevent overfilling of ASTs by providing a positive shut-off during a pressurized-fill (pump-on fill) delivery
Incorporating the 1611/1612 Kamvalok Poppeted adaptor into the 61fSTOP prevents emissions into the atmosphere
Available for both direct fill and remote fill applications

211-RMOT Remote-Fill Spill Container
Designed to prevent spilled product from entering soil near remote, horizontal-fill and vapor return connections on an aboveground storage tank during normal tank filling operation
Slips on the remote-fill and vapor return piping connected to an aboveground tank
11™
61VSA Rotatable Swivel Adaptor and 1711T-1711LPC Caps
These adaptors and caps are installed on the vapor recovery riser pipe from an underground gasoline storage tank
61VSA Rotatable Swivel Adaptor
– Mates with the vapor recovery elbow on the delivery transport truck when recovery of gasoline vapors is required
– Features a top section that rotates with hose movement while the bottom section remains securely sealed to the 4 inch tank riser.
1711T-1711LPC Caps
– Feature enhanced ribbed seals and increased sealing forces to provided a bubble tight seal
12™
200TG Mechanical Tank Gauge
Designed for reading liquid levels in horizontal or vertical aboveground storage tanks with angled face for easy reading
Provides accurate numerical counter readout, eliminating the need for any on-site manual gauging
Vapor Tight – Allows for standard tank pressure testing, sealing up to 25-psig (1.72 bar)
Available for tanks up to 40 feet
English or Metric unit readouts
